No brains
Finished the rebuild of my new hpi Jumpshot, changed some stuf, put in a better servo, change the 48p spur gear for a 32P, put thicker oil in the diff. I a have used the front bumper of the sct model because the mt does not have one, and put an wheely bar on it to protect the body. swapped out the esc, motor, transmitter and reciever, it now has a castle 3800kv 1410 motor in it with a hobbywing max 10 esc, not that the hpi motor and esc are bad they are just rebrand hobbywing, but I allready had the motor and esc and the plan is to sell the hpi esc and motor as a new set to reduce the cost of the car, the Brushless version had a metal gears and the brushed has not thats why I bought the brushless version . Popular Post Redback
Did a bunch of tire swaps i wanted to test so, went for a crawl at one of my fav spots, the highrock with gatekeeper body performed the best vs the trx4 and the ifs gatekeeper with highrock body looked good but performed aweful. Look at that flex. Oh noe wait i broke it, not bad ftx for 2 years of hard crawling and some serious tumbles, could have been worse... Got some good angles and did some crazy lines 😂

BigGinge
Mostly finished the bodge on my damaged diff housing and got the little xlf back together (minus the rear wing which is now officially beyond repair).
Redback
Crawling modified crawlers continued. It all went so wrong so fast. The roll overs here were preventable by not going down a vertical face, but quickest way down 😂

Shergar
Tried some 1.9” tyres (Ebay specials) on the Scout - baring beaching because of the smaller diameter I was quite impressed! Next stop get some 2.2” tyres with better grip! It always looks green and lush when it’s wet in the woods, all rather therapeutic. However your own childish glee at dragging an RC through mud and puddles cannot be beat 👍 My utility does now stink of pond water and GT85 however 😂 1

Popular Post Redback
Went for a serious crawl at a massive rock outcrop. Yep those are the tops of trees behind the truck. So fixed the night before the highrocks broken link holder with a quick homemade fix and managed to ram the servo winch into the front of the body too. It performed really well! When it wasnt taking the quick route down! The highrock fell off the rock face twice 10m drop and roll to the floor. Broke the other link mount and the front of the body cage. FTX tough baby! Was able to field repair the next broken link / panhard mount with a couple of cable ties, got 3 more hours crawling from her. Broke her nose! Lad drove the trx4 that had hard closed cell foams installed into the tires and it also performed much better than I expected or hes just a better driver 😂

Popular Post Fuzzock
Found a new bashing site within a few miles of my house.
