I would also check if any of your pivot bolts are bent as that can really mess up the action. Ian...

The unpainted shell doesn't have it cut out I believe (H86227) I have got them from a couple of places, as one wasn't enough, initially I got them from eBay seller rc-willpower in Taiwan. However a couple of months ago I noticed Wheelspin had them in stock https://wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/10431/ (Not now sadly). Ian...

Clarkson is very good at getting information across, even when using comedy, and I am enjoying the series. I would recommend digging out the few war documentaries that he has done as they a very impressive. Ian...

Damn that looks in good condition with little yellowing on grey pieces. I have a love of the 8860 as it was the first technic model I was bought as a kid. I still have the model although it is probably made of very few (If any) of the original pieces after surviving my childhood. π Ian...

Found a new bashing site within a few miles of my house. On good news the Hyper seems to have mostly survived (Although the carbon front plat is utter toast!) π Ian...

I was looking at doing something like this on my Hyper/ST conversions. Not sure if it is physically possible but a very similar idea. Ian...

They can only help keep the motor warm, but may just blast warm air at a warm service. They won't stop your battery cells cooking. As mentioned earlier knocking the gearing down will help, and it will probably be my solution, or take regular looooong breaks in the shade on a hot day. I think my problem was that I wasn't taking enough breaks, and when I did the car the car was still out in the midday sun so hardly cooling. (My tan looks great thanks. π ) Ah well... Ian...

Might have made the wrong decision yesterday to go out in the middle of the hot day and bash my Hyper hard. May have killed one of my batteries in doing so. π’ Very mild puffing, but enough to split its solid case: Put it on a storage charge for the moment whilst I make my mind up if it is toast or not (The puffing 95% went as it cooled.) Maybe if you could just keep it on its wheels.... π Ian...
