Hi, few more bits to let go, to help the Trx4m addiction lol. prices are never set in stone, always willing to trade too, (micro rc & stuffs) all postage’s will require a signature upon delivery and PayPal fees inc. Rc4wd pro ten 1.9” wheels and Rc4wd Mickey Thompson Baja Claws tyres (suitable for class 1 competition) had these from new, fitted to the orange D90 i have, been a excellent combo, the tyres just come under the size for class 1 at comps. tyres have use as can be seen but theres no holes/rips etc. and still have loads of life in them. i would advise on some new foams though, they were “modded” to accept all the wheel weights. these are very heavy wheels as it stands, kept my orange D90 the right way up but i can also remove them should you wish and save on postage too. looking for £55 all in with the wheels weighted or £50 all in without. Next is a selection of bec’s for 1/10th scale crawlers etc. the first is a new in packet Castle Creations 10 amp bec, set to factory settings. (I can no longer access a pc to use the Castle link with) the other 2 bec’s are used but in full working order, i can tidy the wiring so its more stock or leave the connectors as is, these have both been set at 6v output for higher output servos. the last two i bought new but never used them, just a bit bulkier than the Castle offerings, all good if you have the room though. All 3 Castle creations Bec’s have no SOLD!! looking for, £11 for both bigger bec’s all in. Traxxas xl5 hv esc’s x2, both in excellent order and perfect for a basher, one has had the mounting tabs removed but doesnt alter performance in any way (fits into Tamiya chassis with ease). Ec3 connectors fitted and 3.5mm gold connectors on the motor wires. looking for £14 each all in. Hobbywing 1060 esc, new and unused just had a connector fitted ready to go, comes boxed with manual. looking for £14 all in. 2x mini servos, both new (were no good for the project i had in mind) and unused. There is a Hitec mighty mini and the other (can’t remember the brand) has metal gears. looking for £12.50 for the pair, all in. thats all for now, thanks for taking the time to look Gaz.

Help! So a nitro enthusiast very sadly died in his prime, and his wife was clearing out their garage and I’ve inherited an old Traxxas nitro and a box full of parts. A few years have passed and now I feel such a drive to honour his memory and get the thing working again - plus I think both my sons and I would absolutely love using the thing. It’s 30 years since my old battery Tamya and I always wanted but could never afford anything petrol! Problem is I just can’t get the thing started. I know forums are full of newbies like me asking stupid questions so I’ve tried what look like the basics first from a bit of research. The flywheel spins when I use the battery starter but the petrol engine never “catches”. I attach a video. So I’m using a brand new glow plug and wire that I ordered as spares. I’ve got some fresh 20% fuel. I’ve got 3 fully charged starter batteries. Both lights shine when I use the starter. My needles are set to their factory positions and I’ve tried adjusting the upper one anticlockwise a bit. I can see fuel getting into the engine and I can feel air coming out of the exhaust. I’ve applied a little throttle when starting. I’ve cleared and oiled the air intake sponge. What else can I try? I would be just so amazing to hear the engine roar into life after spending hours tinkering! HELP!!! PS other observations. When I first got it out the flywheel was stuck and nothing turned at all. I think it was “TDC” and maybe a little stuck after time but I got it turning again with a screwdriver on the flywheel and some wd40. It did catch once very briefly for about 2 seconds before quickly fizzling out but never again after hours of trying. The electrics seem okay and I can see the throttle responding and the air hole behind the air intake getting bigger and smaller when I apply the throttle. IMG_8344.mov

Hey all, Just got this tmaxx and the carb is spitting when I hold down the exhaust and turn it over. Here is a video: Im pretty sure it's not supposed to do this. Is the carb ****ed or something else? Thanks.

Hi im new to nitro me and my son have just started out just looking for a bit of advise we was running traxxas tmaxx 2.5 and car cut out there was a tiny bit of fuel left and so filled up and tried starting and nothing iv tested the glow plug and its dead. Bare in mind it had been running for about 2 hours before. Just wondering if anyone on here could read my glow plug from the pictures iv tried to take best i can. Jus wondering if iv tuned it right or the just rubbish glow plugs they are HSP N4. Cheers

Hi, Im thinking of converting my fms chevy k10 to a traxxas system. Using the ecm 2.5 from the traxxas trx4m. The only thing im missing right now is the connector for the motor slot in the ecm. I cant find it online. So does anyone know what the name of this connector is?

I am trying to make my traxxas rustler 4x4 go faster the cheapest way possible because I'm not very old and have little money does anyone know what gears I should get spur and pinion I don't know what tooth count to pick

So it's been a few years since I last posted on here, or even owned an RC! Spending money on full size cars, moving to the other side of the world, life seemed to have changed... Until the idea of getting another RC popped into the back of my mind. Had a look on marketplace, there's definitely not as much choice as back home, and everything seems more expensive. I considered another Slash 4x4, probably one of my favourite RCs I've owned. However realistically, they are too big, don't fit into a normal backpack, and especially if I want to tire the dogs out and wipe one of them out (They're Frenchies, and stupid) It had to be Traxxas, specifically a Mini E-Revo, which I owned one 12 years ago. Me being young, silly and poor meant that it was only a matter of time before I realised it wasn't the best basher on 3s (absolutely ridiculous) and broke something every time I drove it, and couldn't afford to keep fixing it. Traxxas Mini E-Revo Double Backflip - 15 Mar 2010 Fast forward to last week, and a notification came up from marketplace. "Traxxas 1/16th Summit". Close enough, I could just swap the shell, wheels, rocker arms, right? Picked it up, it's well used, dirty, quite a bit of play in the knuckles, but it's a good start. Had a quick drive of it, very high centre of gravity, rolled over a few too many times then broke a front plastic diff yoke whilst making a clicking noise. Classic Traxxas things! Whilst waiting for parts, I decided to strip it down, clean everything, fit the mini erevo rockers to lower it, fit new bearings, refill the shocks and check the diffs. Both are chewed up. Delightful. Chucked it back together, shimmed the diffs, and hope they don't implode as no-one seems to have stock of them in Australia. A week later, this popped up.... $150 off Facebook. Again, not a mini e-revo, but bearing in mind that new diffs are $50 each, the electrics are well worth the rest, not to mention the gearbox and driveline components I can keep spare. Diffs are in brand new condition. More to come.... Broken stuff so far: 1x Diff output yoke 1x Driveshaft

Traxxas nitro slash 1/10th scale- boxed this comes with a pull start fitted and electric ez start set up aswell. 2x ez start Wands (one wand had a fault with ignition this could be a easy fix however I bought a second. 1x Traxxas pull start 1x Traxxas controller 2.4hz 1x nitro slash car I also have 1 or 2 spare traxxas 72 teeth pinion gears. in terms of condition the car is A1 no cracks or brakes in the body of chassis starts and drives brilliantly, however this hasn’t been started in a while I did however get it running for a short period of time earlier this afternoon but it ran a little boggy so will defo need a tune. reason for the change to pull start was the wand I had at the time was faulty and couldn’t find any in stock locally however recently I was able to find one and purchased it to complete the set, I can change this over prior to sale if needed or send it with the pull start and the electric start for you to switch yourself. please don’t hesitate to get in contact I am accepting offers. postage is available at buyers expense 🙂 If you would like a video of it running please get in contact this can be arrange. £300 including postage or £280 collected

Hi all, having another clearout of parts I have all boxed away, I honestly can’t see me using any of this so might as well get some use elsewhere. I have much more stuffs to go through but can only manage a bit at a time. so first up is this lot of Traxxas Trx4 and Slash/Rally 4x4 esc’s and motors. All in excellent working order. there’s 4 Traxxas xl5’s all hv and 3s compatible, one of which comes with a Titan 21t reverse motor (taken from a 2 run old trx4) and a brushed Titan 12t motor/esc combo for a slash/rally 4x4. now I know many people think these are rubbish but I’ve never encountered a esc failure from these Trx4 esc, plus the big advantage is that you already have a output for lights and the reverse is full power (unlike the hw1060 which cuts to 1/2 power when in reverse). Finally I’d like to keep the ec3 connectors if possible, I can pop a deans on though if that’s your preference. so if we say, £25 each for the combos and £18 for the esc’s inc. postage and fees. Rc4wd gelande chassis and transfer case, was a project that never started lol. £25. Hi, decided to clear out some of the radio sets I’ve acquired over time. this is the newest set having been removed from a Corally Radix today, perfect to make up a rtr or just as a spare set. Here’s my Traxxas Bandit. Love the simple yet versatile chassis which can take a bit of a hammering. Wish they wouldn’t use the grey colour plastics though.

Hopefully I’m not the only one who has an issue paying strong money for an X-Maxx stand... I was considering the T-Bone version for the X-Maxx (USD50-odd + shipping) but then decided to give it a shot myself. This was £13 all-in and took about 30mins to put together. Happy to share more details with anyone who might want to do the same for theirs!

I am selling some parts from a recent upgrade that I ran on my Traxxas Rustler. They are less than 3 months old and have been used about an hour total since brand new. I upgraded to LiPo and a Brushless motor combo. The battery combo I am happy to let go for £30 and the motor/ESC combo for £65. If you want the whole lot, come and collect for £80. For a Traxxas Bronco....

Well we all need something to look forward to while in lock down so here is my contribution. After hosting some pretty large bashing meets previously while supporting my local model shop I now want to throw a Slash owners meet for some grass roots racing and bashing. The event which ill class as a glorified bashing meet will include some head to head shoot out style racing with the event winner taking home nothing more than the admiration of the group and the bragging rights. This is open to all slash owners. 2wd, 4x4, stock or modified it really doesn't matter its all just for fun. This will hopefully be the first of many events launched under the banner of the RC community group I am kicking off called GRRC, Grass Roots RC. The GRRC is all about getting the most out of the RC's people own. So the date will probably be two to three weeks after the lock down is lifted and we are allowed to congregate again. Location will be in or around Wakefield West Yorkshire (numbers attending will dictate the exact location).

Is it me, or does the old rustler not have a slipper clutch? if I am going brush-less, what are the slipper clutch options? can i just get a slipper clutch and a-OK or do i need to upgrade anything else?
