  2. seeing this make me think i need to get mine out the garage again!
  3. Good to have you back in the Ryft section again AJ 👍 Mine does not get used as much as i would like but its now pretty much as I want it, they are still to blooming fragile and I keep breaking parts but each time i do it gets an upgrade 😆
  4. My TT02 Rally MkII It is running pretty sweetly now but its been a learning curve and each time I use it I need a new set of wheels as they nearly always get wrecked 😎 I also have to run at 50% power, Its just to mental and uncontrollable at 100% 1194642194_WhatsAppVideo2022-06-18at11_22_45AM.mp4
  5. Not sure that your warranty will cover that ðŸĪĢ
  6. A few more upgrades to the TT02 Rally build, adding metal gears with a nice goop of diff oil in, the plastic ones were getting worn. also added some new foam bumpers front and rear still lots more I would like to do but slowly slowly catchy monkey 😁
  7. Fixed it again today 😁 then broke it again in one min of using it 😒 The rear trailing arm again, think Its time for an upgrade on those as they are just so easily broken ðŸĪ”
  8. Just finished the axle and diff re'build 👍 May even get to test it at the weekend 😁
  9. Thanks BigGinge I was passing by Halfords and they had a set in store so picked them up and did the job lovely 😁
  10. Anyone have any recommendations for Torx driver sets for Axial as I have a few screws that I am having trouble removing 😎
  11. Yes like the nets 👍 I have ordered new gear housing, shims and some 1 mill gear oil for mine so will re'build the axles proper unlike from the factory then hopefully they wont slip and grind like they do now 😒
  12. You will find most things on here or youtube, oils should be listed in the manual if not then just go with a recommended oil, wheelspin models are a great help. parts you may have to use UK.Bangood.com or ebay
  13. If it was me part of the fun of owning a RC car is the stripping down and repairing, just get out and use it, hitting a tree will break it before a part fails in most cases 😉
  14. The Hobbywing EZRUN 3660SL 4000kV G2 Brushless Motor and Hobbywing Ezrun MAX10-SCT 120A ESC I am not all that impressed with the Standard set up.
  15. must get mine out again, Now that I have a new motor, esc combo to try ðŸĨģ
  16. This takes me back to me yooff 😆
  17. From what I've heard its not the best upgrade and changing the RTR motor and ESC to something a lot better and smoother is the better option, It may not be the cheapest though 😎
  18. Looks fanblooming tastic ðŸĪ“
  19. Fitted a new steering servo horn as the old one kept coming loose resulting in loss of control 😒 also fitted the proper actual sway bar for the RBX10 rather than my home made one, I think I prefer the home made one but I will see how it goes. Shims have also arrived for the diffs but that jobs for another day as i need to order diff gloop and other gloop for other bits before i can fit, I may also need new diffs as the old ones have been slipping a fair bit.
  20. Just spend the morning stripping down both Axles as they have been slipping, I cant find the shims i need and the diff locks are out of stock for the moment so I tried a bodge option of changing the small rubber "O" rings behind the both crown gears in each axle with a slightly fatter version ðŸĪŠ After a short test run I'm very please with the results, not sure how long it will last but only time will tell 😁
  21. Stripped down both front and rear axles on the Ryft, cleaned bodged and re'greased while I wait for the diff lockers to come back into stock 😔
  22. would depend on what you want to spend and if you want to just crawl or race or both?
  23. So it seems that both my front and rear Axle gear housings are toast, made using that cheese type metal and have had to contact Horizon Hobbies for a warranty claim, also the front servo is so sloppy now, I will also try and claim for this but may just have to upgrade 🙄
  24. Any Ryft owners had this problem? If I throttle on hard I get a grindy sort of noise and same if I get stuck the main drive shafts to the front and rear diffs spin but I get no drive to any wheels just a grrrr noise, would this mean that the diffs need a thicker grease? hope someone can help its driving me slightly bonkers ðŸĨģ
