Popular Post Ant.p
Today I finally got round to fitting lights to my Arrma Infraction. @Bert_w164 is the brains behind the operation. I sent some dimensions across and next thing I knew a set of lights turned up. I don’t know the specs, but they’re super bright! I’m sure if anyone has any questions he’d be able to answer. I used my body post reamer to make the holes in the body, then a combination of hot glue and evo-stik ‘sticks like ****’ to secure everything in place. I still need to cover the circuit boards to keep moisture and dust out, but otherwise complete. currently running on a 3s 2800mAH battery, but with cooling fans, the leds can run on 6s if I really want to upset the neighbours! thanks so much @Bert_w164, Cracking lights! They’ve transformed an already fine rc into a fully pimped bit of eye candy!

Popular Post Kpowell911
I decided that I dont really use my Slash 4x4 and it has some nice mods…… so decided to transfer over some of the parts to my Stampede 4x4….. however half way through I realised the Chassis Brace doesnt fit the Stampede 4x4, and the GTR shocks arent really worth upgrading to on a basher…… so decided to cut my loses, leave the Slash as it was and upgrade the Stampede (only really needs driveshafts) as I go. I did gear the Stampede up and put alloy rear hubs on. Its now got RPM arms all round too

Popular Post oodboo
Finished another one. PS46 iridescent purple green backed with PS23 Gun metal. I used the gun metal rather than black to tone down the iridescence of the PS46. Was looking good until I decided to do the whole thing with PS55 flat clear for the matte look and it attracted dust and stuff. It's a runner so I'm not that bothered. Body posts are staying like that so that I can fit the lancia delta body to the same chassis.
Popular Post Hell horn.
Managed to lose one of the capra headlights so made something up with a set if rc4wd baja lights. And bad to resolder one. That was a tiny little bugger to fix.
Popular Post MrCake
Managed to run 3 of them in the same day! Feels like we are in a small window where it has been dry for well over a week now so the ground is fairly firm. Makes for a much quicker clean-up! Sun was out as well so I thought I would take advantage as no doubt we will be back to lots of rain soon.

Popular Post Bert_w164
Took my Losi 8ight out after months. I bought a Reds 2800kv motor during black Friday to match the Reds Racing ESC, Reds say is fine for 6S. Things at home got pretty heavy and I didn't do anything RC related for a long time... The last time it ran was a test session where by the motor was getting too hot...a dual fan setup and some thermal interface material was applied. And as mentioned before I changed ESCs, from Hobbywing XR8 Plus to a Reds Racing 220a ESC. Despite its 25T pinion, I no longer have heat related issues. A spare spoiler has been hacked away to reduce down force as it wanted to take flight... Today's result: No overheating, a planted 8ight and lots of fun! Without your help, little Stormzy is stuck on 2S power, living in the slow lane. Stormzy has never experienced 3S on his Mini-T, Stormzy thinks 2S is brilliant because he is without 3S. Imagine the difference you could make to Stormzy's (RC) life for 69p. 1

BigGinge
Tried to print of a couple of parts for the trail van build with some new carbon fibre PETG filament. It has not gone well, this was the best of about six attempts that I started today. For some reason I just can’t get the stuff to stick to the print bed so will probably give up soon and just try and get something out in PLA to get things moving again. 1 1
