Looks good, let me know how the PTFE shock protectors hold up. I've made a few bits that seem much stronger than the standard PLA that the previous ones were.

Still can't quite get electronics in WPL C14.  Need a smaller receiver than a GR3E.

Have you de-cased it? That's how I fitted mine inside my a Outback Mini

Mostly just swore at mine, brand new, sat for a week before I got batteries, went to fit my radio kit to bin the gash that comes with arrmas these days and found this.

ESC cable crushed below the reciever box lid, gutted it wasn't the servo, cause its getting replaced. Waiting to hear back from Horizon but in the meantime, would you chance it?

Cheers guys! 😄 Fannied about with it a bit, reckon around half of the wire is gone, emailed horizon as instructed in the accompanying bumph only to be told to take it up with the retailer. Passed to them and awaiting reply. Googled around a bit in the meantime to find all the flammable BLX185 tales, brilliant! Anyone got a spare Max 6 or similar going spare?

If it works then go for it, luckily the RX cables don’t have to pull much current 👍

Finally finished spraying my Mad Bull shell (after 4 years! lol), stickers stuck down and final spray of clear paint. Leaving it to dry overnight.

Will post photo when it's all fitted together. 👍

Really like this, but personally prefer the Intergrale Wheels, still a great build though👍

wheels

Intergrale wheels didn't look right to me, swapping to the gold and dropping it was the last thing I done.

Rebuilt the transmission in the VS4-10 - just to check it after a few packs having gone through it.

Spent the entire day drilling out a grub screw in a pinion with inadequate tools (broke 2 drill bits and my messed up my Dremel) that I overtightened with rubbish hex drivers that rounded it out. I got it off but at the cost of scratching up a pristine motor and motor mount on top of accidentally drilling into the shaft because I couldn't see when the grub ended and when the shaft started. Had to heat the pinion up even after drilling to about 200° to pry it off and in the process scratched and burned myself multiple times.

It's a lesson to get the right tools so I don't have to bodge everything every time.

At least I got it off 🤷🏻‍♂️IMG_20200704_223047.thumb.jpg.eb0f09d597af093a8991da5bf9097987.jpgIMG_20200704_223206.thumb.jpg.f614b89b828e9497fe66463f8a5e36d9.jpg

De-cased and de-pinned 😮 a receiver so I can solder on flying leads for servo and esc.  Then it should fit where I want!
