  1. Really like that BBX (Egress looks good too), Tamiya are really good at evoking the Retro nostalgia.
  2. I have this one: https://www.willspeed.co.uk/products/penguin-rf3-slayer-bodyshell
  3. All electronics installed, geometry set up. Just waiting on the body now.
  4. Hi @Candyman, appreciate the offer it is a bit rough, there are two, the rough one is for when the chassis is set up on the long wheel base, I have fitted a different one now as I'm running in the standard wheelbase. Other than the finish on this one part, it’s really nicely made. Will speak to Willspeed about this one, and see what the say. if you want one there is one left on FF Racing 😉 https://ffracing.co.uk/products/tlr-22-5-0-rf3-conversion?_pos=3&_sid=0104624c5&_ss=r
  5. I have recently picked up a Willspeed conversion kit, this is designed and made in the UK for the current 1/10 TLR 22 5.0 Elite buggy, it uses the complete front end from the TLR and also the rear arms, axels, diff, spur and C & D blocks too. Kit comes with: 1x Billet Aluminium Main Chassis 1x Billet Aluminium Chassis Kick Up Section 1x 5 Gear Billet Aluminium Transmission Case 1x Billet Aluminium Motor Mount 2x Carbon Fibre Tower Uprights 1x Billet Aluminium Rear Shock Mount 1x Billet Aluminium Rear Link Vertical Ball Stud Mount 3x Machined Idler Gear with premium ball bearings My intention is to set this up and use it for indoor Carpet racing . finished the basic build now, just waiting on ESC and Motor.
  6. Should have looked at the photos in the link😀
  7. Like that, looks like it could resemble the Ford Broncho Desert racer, can you get body’s/panels for it?
  8. Those look great, what is the top one?
  9. There is a Facebook group for these trucks, an image of mine is in the running to be the main page image, if you feel so inclined, perhaps you could give it a like? https://www.facebook.com/groups/172189008860939/permalink/244028335010339/
  10. Thanks, there were some nice looking ones in there👍
  11. All good, nicely made, well thought out and fit well. The Independent front suspension kit is really good, transforms the way it drives, for some this may be a bad thing as it takes away some of its madness, but I like it. Highly recommend the parts.
  12. Really like the look of this new Baja Rey from Losi, emailed Horizon Hobby and they said they don’t know if or when there will be a Uk/European release. have bough a fair few bits from Amain in the states and not been hit with import duties. with this being over $500 do we think it’s likely I will get clobbered with these (I know we have to pay it, but it’s nice when it doesn't happen). what sort of percentages are we talking on top of the cost price?
  13. I got mine from Drone Junkie, looks like they have closed now though? not sure now
  14. Fitted a new servo to the Lunchbox, old one was a little slow (etronix ET 2070), new one is a little faster (GX Servo G25 25kg), now it’s more responsive on the steering.

  17. Fitted some 3d printed parts, Fuel Cell and Jack, designed by a guy in the US, really good fit and finish.

  21. Would be worth checking the brushes, not sure how easy replacements are to find, worth posting up on the Iconic Rc page on Facebook with the motor name and some images, there are quite a few people who run these in the vintage stuff.
