Having said that, could do with one at the moment - got a mouse - figured out how to nick the cheese without setting off the traps - bugger! Al. air rifles are safe enough provided they are used with thought. try and stay high up so the pellet goes straight into the ground. never fire towards houses etc... plus they are fairly quiet so nothing for the neighbours to worry about. fire out the bedroom window....
