  1. These guys bring up a good point considering how many F1 drivers are or have been involved in RC it would be nice to see them supporting RC tracks. Such a shame some really iconic and important track are being forced to close ☹️

While I don't disagree that lack of users and membership/race fees is a factor, I think it's more the landlords and land owners are either being offered large sums of money for the land by developers or being pressured by developers or maybe even the government or councils to sell the land.

possibly a combination of both 😞

  2. Really like the looks of this other than the long bed which is a little odd. I would be tempted to put my TRX 4 up for sale to fund one at some point.
  3. So Dio decided to go into shed immediately after I bought him home from the shop so apart from a little check every now and then I've not seen much of him. But he finally shed sometime Saturday night and I attempted to get a pic of him but he's so small and squirmy and incredibly inquisitive about anything and everything it's really hard to get a decent one of him.
  4. Dio the Diamond Python. I had to change his paper towel so thought I'd get a pic. He's already very laid back and incredibly inquisitive. Diamond Python are known for being pretty gentle and reluctant to bite even in the wild they're pretty chill, very similar to my Bredls in terms of temperament. The white spots will eventually turn pretty much pure white and he'll have bright yellow flecks in-between the majority of the black scales when he's older.
  5. I may have bought home a baby Diamond Python Tuesday 🙄  I'll post some pics probably in a week or two after he's settled in :good:

To be fair it wasn't my fault, the staff in the shop made me do it 🤔🤣 They even let me hold their 6 year  old one to show me what he'll be like when he's older 😅

yeah...they just sneaked it into your pocketwhile you weren;t looking, then swiped your credit card to cover their tracks.

It's an age old trick, and I am amazed you fell for it 🤣

  6. I've not had a chance to get some decent pics of my Chahoua Gecko but last night he was out and about so I grabbed the camera.
  7. To be fair that was after the "first" lap, but yes it is awfully clean 🤣 Though not looking forward cleaning it now though 🙄 🤣
  8. The Pay and Play day was great though we did cut it short due to it being extremely muddy which was very interesting on road tyres. That being said I was really surprised at how capable the Navara was, I wasn't convinced it do half of what it did. The Hill decent control works extremely well. Only got one pic but I think there were a few people taking videos so if I come across any I'll post them up.
  9. Booked mum and the Navara in for an off road pay and play day. Could be interesting as it's completely standard with road tyres and doesn't have the optional locking diff fitted 😅

    Looking forward to it though.

It's next Sunday :good: I really hope it doesn't break as it's a daily driver 😅 Weather could be interesting as I think it's going to very wet and rainy.

  10. A Maxx Rally might actually interest me, would be nice to have a larger sized rally car that would hopefully have a licensed body that isn't another Ford 🤔
  11. Got to be honest I think I'd rather go for the Arrma Mojave over this but I think that's probably down to body style more than anything and I'm pretty sure that this will be significantly tougher than the Arrma. Be interesting to see what the price will be in the UK.
  12. I briefly had the "new" Savage X and it honestly has to be one of the worst RCs I've ever bought, had all sorts of things wrong with it from them not assembling the 2 speed gearbox correctly to mix matched hardware between metric and imperial. I ended up sending it back to the shop I bought it from and they told me I wasn't the only one having issues so they refunded me immediately. Unfortunately it put me off of buying anymore HPI products which is a shame as I've had several in the past that were great.
  13. He's just very curious about everything and was investigating what I was doing with camera. He loves to explore everything and anything. Looking forward to when he's a bit bigger and I can let him roam the house a bit more.
  14. Think I've finally found a decent setting on my camera after nearly 10 years of owning it to be able to set it up for different lighting conditions. Got a decent picture of my Bredls python the other day. Really need to try and play with the settings on my camera more as I know it's got much more to offer.
  15. To be honest I have no idea if Killer RC is still going. I used to have Superbee and the big 7200mah LiPo from them for my 5ive T and they were great. I did try this one on my 5ive B and it worked fine though a bit more fiddly to set up than the Superbee https://www.customcoatingsandracing.co.uk/store/Switchblade-kill-switch-v2-p130546971 Though that also looks like it's out of stock most places.
  16. I haven't personally but I think several people on here have and they often support the guys racing in the Large Scale Nationals, I also follow them on Facebook Might be worth sending them a message saying that you're trying to get one or they might be able to suggest a suitable alternative.
  17. These guys might have one or might be able to get one in for you https://www.customcoatingsandracing.co.uk/
  18. He's fine though in the snake equivalent of the dog house. I thought his UVB bulb blew before Christmas, as it turns out it didn't blow the little 🤬 had managed to climb up onto the wire and pulled the power cord out of the unit just enough for it to not fall out so I didn't think to check it. As a result he had to spend a couple of days with out proper light and now has gone off of food again 🙄
  19. My Hognose keeping an eye on everyone.
  20. My Aunt bought me and my brother 4 bottles of Gin between us for Xmas, I think I forsee some rough mornings ahead 😅

Woohoo new definition of a Merry Christmas but enjoy it mate

Dont drink it all at once tho

  21. Interesting question and I believe they do recognise their keeper. There's a YouTube channel I watch and the guy has a few big Reticulated Pythons that he'll often take out into his yard when the weather is nice for a bit enrichment. One day he had one of his Retics out and one of his neighbours walked across the yard and his Retics seeing someone/something unfamiliar turned around and climbed up onto him as it knew it's keeper was a safe person/object/thing. This was a 12-16ft snake that saw something or someone it didn't feel comfortable with and instantly went to it's keeper to feel safe. With my own snakes I've experienced something similar in fact that if I try and give them to my mum or brother to hold they're reluctant to climb onto them and often want to come back to me as they're something new and different that they're not comfortable with. Obviously with enough time and effort they will eventually feel more comfortable with new people but because their keeper is always working with them they know that they can trust them a lot more.
