  1. I can just imagine somebody flying one of them at the Southern tip of Texas - that would go down well!! Stunning detail - looks great. Al.
  2. Well done. Winner's thread required when received of course - receipt, charge, first bash, first crash ... !! Enjoy. Al.
  3. Why be so negative? It's huge!! It's crying out for more power!!! An option should be a lifting winch for the car / van / pick-up! (Or a year's supply of steriods and a bodybuilding course!!) Al.
  4. Imagine how much fuel a 50cc nitro would be using as well!! Al.
  5. How about fitting a Conley V8 in it? Much bigger - will it fit? - but should give the extra power, and sound required .... and triple the price!! Al.
  6. It did mention in one part when describing the Tx, that there's capacity for 'tagging on extras'. Something that big should have decent stability, which isn't easy with some 4WS conversions I've seen, and created. It would be nice 'though!! Price is high, but that was to be expected. Considering the amount of 'real estate', and in comparison to some of the 'conversions' many of us have made in the last 10 years, it doesn't sound THAT expensive ... Who's going to be the importers / sellers in UK? Is there even enough of a market here? Whilst we're as nuts as anyone for R/C, we just don't have the room that other countries, USA included, have. Al.
  7. Tank would have to be a ride-on, and fire t-shirts or something!! LOL! Al.
  8. Shipping 30th August for those millionaires out there .... lucky £"$%" !!! Al.
  9. DAMN !!! Superb!! Not that I'm biased. Now the lottery ............ Al.
  10. If that 22nd February release date is true, that leaves 3 days to go ....................... !!!! Al.
  11. Agreed, but it will happen ... one day ... Whatever happened to this? Body is horrible, suspension is too 'loose', but better set up, with different body options, could have been a winner ... Al.
  12. Body will have to be strong, for the inevitable grip-rolls .... 5T-style Bigfoot look will be easiest I suppose, but agreed, a bit of choice would be nice. Al.
  13. DAMN !!!! Love it !! Let's hope they don't stuff the body up - that looks stupendous! I like weights, but I reckon I'd need a ramp to get that into the car! Al.
  14. Can you find it and post? Would be interesting!! MTXL tyres look 'just right' on the 'X' - as in perhaps slightly large but there or there abouts!! Al.
  15. Primeval? !! Raptor or Rex? What about tyres - pneumatic? Model punctures time, but could 'play' with pressures depending on terrain, not just shock rates. DAMN!! Me likey ... where's that lottery ticket? Al.
  16. I'd like to see a couple of videos of them - see how they go. Al.
  17. BLACK FRIDAY Horizon USA. Yeti XL RTR US$250 / £207.25 !! https://www.horizonhobby.com/1-8-yeti-xl-brushless-monster-buggy-4wd-rtr-p-axid9032?utm_source=bronto&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Spot1&utm_campaign=11222018_BF (I know there's '20% + the rest') Al.
  18. That looks superb - fantastic car. Pity it changed into what it is now!! Jam-butty one for me I reckon!! Al.
  19. Confirmed this link - sorry about previous!! That is the site. Al.
  20. Sorry guys - it opened into their page and I copied the address as normal. It's a French guy / company if it rings a bell - does the RS2600, Opel Commodore (?) GS/E, etc. I'll see if I can find it. E-mail 'news' said last preparation, to order, no more as needs to return moulds, or something ... perhaps there's a copyright problem? I think this is the site: http://www.rcbodyshop.fr/index.php/catalogsearch/result/?___store=anglaisvue&q=capri&___from_store=default Al.
  21. I put this in the general section to be more 'visible'. This guy's work looks excellent - cannot vouch for the quality of the Lexan used. Link removed - not working - see below. Al.
  22. Jadlam - all weekend. 10% off BTSMODELS ? Al.
  23. Quote: Traxxas® Consumer Safety Alert! Important Safety Notice Regarding Venom® Power Batteries with the Uniplug 2.0 System The Venom Uniplug 2.0 system is not compatible with Traxxas iD™ as claimed by Venom. The Venom Uniplug 2.0 system bypasses important safety features in the Traxxas High-Current Connector. Bypassing the Traxxas safety features creates a severe risk of FIRE and INJURY if batteries are improperly handled. The Traxxas iD™ system utilizes technology integrated into the Traxxas High Current connector that Traxxas iD™ chargers use to automatically configure the charge settings for the battery when the battery is plugged into the charger. The Venom Uniplug 2.0 connector is not compatible with the Traxxas iD™ system and contains no technology that can be used by a Traxxas iD™ charger. The Traxxas High Current connector design designates specific connectors for various LiPo batteries and a single specific connector only for NiMh batteries. A mechanical key system built into the design of the connector prevents Traxxas iD™ LiPo batteries from being plugged into currently produced Traxxas NiMh chargers. This is an important safety feature for Traxxas customers. The Venom Uniplug 2.0 system bypasses this Traxxas safety feature and creates a severe risk of fire and injury by allowing a Venom LiPo battery to be connected to and charged by a NiMh only charger, or manually charged in NiMh charge mode on multi-chemistry chargers. For more details, contact Traxxas Customer Service at (888) 872-9927 Al.
  24. Is this guy going to excavate his own garage as well? Could start his own alluvial gold mine in miniature I suppose!! Al.
