Popular Post Hell horn.
Tested the rock bouncer out. It's ****ing nuts. Way way way to powerful lol. Does standing back flips currently lol. The torque twist is ridiculous. The diffs need locking. And the tyres roll way to much. But it's brilliant fun. Time for some tinkering then

Popular Post Andy20xe
Fitted a nice brushed combo to the v100. Thanks to @Redbackfor quick post.
supersavage
Made a start taking the Maxx apart to see what condition it's in and replace the bearings while I'm at it. So far other than some rusty hardware and a possible leaky diff it actually looks pretty good.
khevolution
Replaced the servo in my sons TT01, unfortunately the servo he has got now is not as fast or as strong as the servo he just killed, so he is eyeing up the one in my buggy.
NOFX
Got the associated mt28 running on a2s rx/esc. Top speed is mental. But acceleration is lacking. I might graft the rear end of the knackered microT onto it 🤔
Popular Post Hell horn.
Bit more work on the bouncer done. Had a go at making some links after a friend gave me some parts to use. 3mm threaded rod. And 5x3mm steal tube. Perfect. And Free parts are always a plus. Wheels of Dan. Now running a 15t brushed motor and esc. Much better for this build. Locked rear diff ekth some rolled up heat shrink. Works brilliant. This is so almost finished now

Nitroholic
@Hell horn. I made linkage arms for my madforce the same way. They work really well. I would advice, though, putting a little bit of copper grease or similar inside the sleeve, as I got a bit of damp leaking back and corrosion can set in. Doesn't affect the operation any... but

Wltoys 12402-a
Just fitted my new 25t pinion to my ftx vantage brushless buggy Waiting for locktite to cure before I test it out 👌👌👌
Popular Post capri-boy
Few days ago now, but i'm not online very much atm. Decided to take the emb-MT on hols, a rig i've not used since the pro painter made a mess of the shell and in my disgust I relegated it to the shelf. Using said shell means I needed a new shelfer shell for it, and had this BSR hellseeker shell knocking about. It's slightly too short in length but it'll do (stock shell is also not really deep enough, hence the trimming).

supersavage
Yesterday I failed replacing the bearings on the Maxx, got so far and gave up lol. And today I'm failing at soldering XT90s on the Max 8.

MrCake
Went to service the Slash rear diff using a new diff case. Got everything installed and the diff filled before realising that Traxxas had forgotten to form one of the screw holes on the top!?
Popular Post Alex97
DIY... I need to give the wood another coat of paint however it's looking ok. I've got plans to fill the 3rd spot however 4th is TBC but will no doubt a 210-225mm wheelbase as I've got a lorry shell.

Popular Post Alex97
Started my next little project... My all time favourite F1 car is the FW08B, it was never raced however I've seen it at several events and loved it. It's 4 wheel drive and uses 4 wheels at the rear to drive it. The FIA outlawed them before the season started as they were too quick. The body is a 98T, the last to use the John player special livery! I'm going between a hybrid of two of my favourite F1 cars.

Popular Post billyb_imp
At last, I have made a start on the CC-01 Defender 90, not done much, sorted the bags out, got my kit ready, done the motor, blobs of threadlock already on the user manual and then Margaret calls me into make coffee, maybe I should have bought a coffee machine that she finds easier to use 😂 Will be back on it in half an hour.
