All Electronics included, all you need is batteries to get going Link to site which has the specs: http://www.fs-racingart.com/detail.php?pid=1938 Priced to sell Any Questions Please Ask
  4. sorry to piggy back this thread but would xt60 be fine for 1/10th scale i cant imagine the ampage of a 1/10th being enough to trouble them
  5. the money i made from selling a buggy, was burning a hole in my wallet so just gone and got myself a FS Racing Clone hopefully that should arrive tomorrow and then i can start tinkering with that while i figure out what "bashing" vehicle i want (although the MT10 is the favourite to win that one)
  6. So is this nitrotek/FSracing clone a copy of the SCX10 or the SCX10.2, if im honest im not sure of the difference yet, but intrigued to know what base line i would be working from.
  7. any idea where i should be looking for this truck the only place i seem to see it is a german site that ive never heard of before
  8. Quite tempted by one now, now the next question obviously is what car do I get for my crawling duties, this has to be more budget friendly approach, I’m looking at maybe something from the FTX range but as always im open to suggestions
  9. Not really put much thought into the Associated MT10, but im a fan of the brand so thats a plus, it seems to tick pretty much most of my boxes except the whole MT thing, but i am sure a bit of diff and shock tuning can calm it down a bit, im not going to be doing anything too extreme with it so can't see it giving me too much trouble in the long run. anything i need to know about it/look out for, going to sit down later on and have a good read of the owners thread tonight
  10. i think without going to the shed and having a look its about a 6450KV motor, that i have just yanked out of one of my previous racing buggy so you could be right in saying it might not have the grunt required to propel a truck about. As for the arrma stuff, from looking at 2wd version of the vortek its looks like it could upgraded down the road to 4wd, which as far as i can tell is the only difference between the two (and electronics of course) tell me if iam wrong i am still learning here
  11. what are peoples general opinion of the new arrma 2wd stuff that is due out soon, i know its brushed, but ive got a 540 5.5t motor and ESC that i could put in it.
  12. £300 ish, but obviously there is wriggle room in that
  13. okay so remove trailing from the equation as im possibly looking at something like the Tamiya CC02 for a Xmas build (although ive also seen people having some luck with an axial clone scx10, but i think that is probably best for another thread)
  14. Hello After deciding to step away from RC racing to concentrate more on enjoying the hobby with my two sons and just to take the pressure out of something i enjoy, I am currently in the process of selling my racing buggies and want to put that money back into another model, after browsing through MS,RCMart and various other online stores, I have come to the conclusion of what i want out of a car, but I am not too sure such a vehicle exists, but I am hoping you lovely people can maybe guide me to something I have not thought of as ive not really had to look at this side of the hobby in a long time.... But what I am looking for is.... A decent vehicle stock but has loads of room for upgrades and improvement. Not a huge fan of the high center of gravity that comes with a MT so maybe something like a truggy/short course/ stadium truck 1/10th scale preferable as i know the bigger you go the price of everything else goes up I am getting to the age where i enjoy the slower things in life so the scale crawling/trailing interests me, but also need something to keep up with my son's 3s Slash Would prefer to have a kit, as i thing the building process is as much fun as the owning and running process Think that is it for now, but i am sure there is more, as the title states I am pretty sure such a vehicle exists otherwise everybody would have one! and maybe I am looking into multiple vehicles depending on my mood, but i still would like to hear peoples suggestions K
