WideMaxx weeee.

I like the looks, but certainly is "different" to what i usually prefer in terms of colour. Will say, after wrenching deep on the EXB, Dementor etc - this is just easier to work on, and more convenient. Should've cleaned the truck prior though, wife's gonna tear me a new one lol.

Todays job is to try and decrease the turning circle of the worlds worst rally car by fitting CVD’s on my swamp thing rally TT02. I’m giving it a strip down and bath too!

The remaining end of my Yeah TT02 CVD’s came quickly from Cleveland RC - perfect fit 👍 Who knows why Yeah don’t sell them as a set!

They do look a little spindly, will soon find out how tough they are... looks like I’ve gained a few degrees of steering travel too (which was the point!).

Yeah racing via Cleveland RC - but I’d imagine the same component same factory - how have you got on with them? I mainly woodland bash this poor thing, I probably should get a buggy - but I love just love an actual car shell.

Sorry @Hugoagogo read that correctly now (!), Fastrax tyres from Modelsport, softer than the Tamiya proper ones but pretty tough. Pale blue foam is ok but so soft as possibly negligible? (Next time I’d go for a medium Schumacher set inside). You need to glue them as they roll off the rims otherwise. I’m using a reinforced hard chassis and TT02 hard drift A parts as well. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?product_id=390752

It was just a shakedown run round the grass and road near me to see what would come loose/break and true to form something did! I think it is just the propshaft grub screw to the bevel gear but I want to look at the centre diff anyways, so will take that apart too.

Replaced the servo in my daughter's Maverick Quantum MT. I don't actually think there is much wrong with the old one but it wasn't tightened up well from factory and the servo horn looks a little chewed up so I'm hoping that the all metal parts with threadlock applied will sort it all out.

Was scary installing a servo for the first time as I've never done it before but after letting it settle into position and a few trial runs it's fine. Just letting it all cure now and hopefully I can fix up the old servo for a 2wd buggy build in future

Yea identical apart from inhave yellow and brown wires for some reason. Any way it was a doddle and I shouldn't have been so concerned about fitting it. I've had a look at the old one and really it just seems like the plastic servo horn is a bit chewed so maybe if I can get a new metal horn it might be good for a buggy build in future. I'm keen on putting a Tamiya kit together like a Neo Fighter or something but then I've nothing stopping me from just splashing out on an Arrma Typhon so I'm torn between what to do

Power hobby Fans added, the fans work well, ive gone from 135f to 105f- on the motor, so more confident to add the high speed pinion now.

Tekin motor stripped for inspection,
before opening it up, i turned the shaft by hand, it didnt feel like it had much resistance,  Rotor looks knackerd.
