  1. Sometimes only a zip tie will do. These have been holding in the sway bar on the baja for about 8 months now.
  2. Made a new battery case this time…
  3. I waited 3 months for a spur gear for my maverick atom. I find it a bit of a joke that the spares aren’t just available, always. They’re hobby grade cars. Manufacturers should be on it. Had my mini maxx over 2 months now and still waiting a front skid to become available.
  4. I thought it was pretty tame compared to what I put it through in the past! I’ve already got some RPM front arms for it so hopefully £20 or so for some springs and shafts and she’s sorted. unless there’s an alternative? Arrma don’t seem to do a hop up shock for these 4s rigs.
  5. We were sending them at the bmx track. Big dirt jumps. I should have stopped after I noticed the front one had snapped but we’d only been out 5 mins. So I thought I’d try some speed runs on the grass but couldn’t control it properly and I hit a metal rail. Game over. Had fun watching my son with the senton though. First time he’s had decent go with a fast 1/10.
  6. Another breakage. 3rd one in as many outings. Snapped a front A-arm, 2 shock shafts and lost 2 springs on the Outcast. So that’s now on the bench with the baja and hyper. However the Senton has been out every one of those times and taken everything I’ve thrown at it. The front and rear bumpers have a break each but they’re still doing their job. Definitely my favourite car currently. At least my gps protector passed its first test on the outcast.
  7. Full electronics set up from my maverick atom inc Tx, Rx/esc, 380 motor with heatsink and servo with new servo arm as I butchered the old one to fit my new servo. This all had very little use before I converted to brushless. £20 posted. plastic shocks, cvd’s and diff outdrives. £6 posted.
  8. I’ve been trying to make a gps protector for a while now. Ive been struggling to come up with something compact and without any hardware required. Finally getting to design I’m happy with but this TPU filament is a bugger to print with.
  9. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/electric/models/off-road/buggy/rally/rock-racer/truggy/monster-truck/4wd/un-assembled-kit?&MinPrice=&MaxPrice=500 There are twice as many to choose from if you consider 2wd too.
  10. I won this as part of mystery box on hobbycomps but have no use for it. Brand new, literally turned this morning. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/fastrax-compact-hauler-bag-39975 £70 posted
  11. Tbh I hadn’t even noticed the difference in wire gauge. It was more just a question on the connectors. I either run 2-3s in some cars or 4-6 in others. Hasn’t realised this motor would take 4s until the other day. I’ll just swap out the ESC connector to xt90 now. Don’t it will see 3s much now🙂
