  1. just added the aero kit to this car, hopefully ill notice an improvement, ill take it out again Tomoz and try it out.
  2. I got the module, and installed it, despite being dubious as to whether it would work, and even if it did, was it any good. Anyway its working, and managed to squeeze 83mph out the vendetta ( apparently) i should have double checked with the GNSSth the GNSS,
  3. Got this earlier, nothing exciting x2 4s batts GNSS analyser, BT2000, bluetooth module + DX3 phone holder oz
  4. Hello guys: Wasn't sure were to put this post, so i put it here under "General" What i wanted to ask is "whats the rollout on the Arma Vendetta? I think its 1.48, but not 100% and i think ill struggle making the calculation, i cant actually see the pinion gear Spur is 50t pinion is 20t tyre diameter is 85mm internal gear ratio 2.85 any help is appreciated
  5. Hi Kpowell911 Thanks: ill give my honest feedback on it, not sure at this point if its any good, but ill feed back for anyone who's interested. thanks again.
  6. Got this car 2 days ago, haven't even driven it yet. opened the box, pulled out the car, ripped out the esc, replaced it with a 130a Speki, calibrated the radio, reprogramed the esc, and she's now good to go on 4s. everything else is stock, including the high downforce wing+pinion. ( 130a esc) fits in the stock position. i got a carbon aero kit in the post, carbon splitter, etc, when i get the kit ill fit it and post..............all that's left to do is actually drive it, lol, but weathers been bad so ill tinker until it get better
  7. Hi, im not really new, i just been away for a while ( too busy working ) Im still in the Hobby, still live in weybridge/surrey. i do have a couple new cars, ill post em up when i can. Anyway, its good to be back
  8. Weather is Good, so Took out the VTE2, soft gearing, 41/27 and just 6s......so plenty of room for gearing up 80mph was easy to achieve. Will go upto 8s next time, but keep the gearing the same, that place i ran isnt the best, and way too many stone chips
  9. Posted 8 minutes ago Finally found some time to do more work on this build, All that's left is to paint the bodyshell I should have finished this weeks ago but side-tracked with other little projects Here's what I've done. Install Titanium spool Set. + Set Mesh. ( 34T spool swopped out with 41T spool from Saga) Using 27T Motor pinion ( 41/27 gearing 1:51 ratio ) TX+RX = Bind Calibrate ESC+ Programme Via Castle Link. Fine tune Gyro+ Test Run on 6s Trim Bodyshell Quote
  10. I saw this item and couldn't resist, on Scorched parts website titanium spool with bearings and spacers . ( VTE2) Hoboa Plus the Link, which i forgot to order initially, but hey im getting old now. 🙂 from AT Models
  11. Got this very old Tamiya up and Running......................... needed some basic Bits + Esc was playing up, but all sorted..... its nice to see her fully functional now.
  12. finally found some time to get most of this build finished, needs minor finishing but im almost done.
  13. Cant remember when i ordered this combo ( MMX 8S + 1717 - 1650kv ) But, its here finally. I soldered some IC5 connectors ( its all i had at home) so its good to go. Probs chuck this in the VTE2 oh, i also got the Savox 46kg servo. well see how this lot holds up pretty soon
  14. Scorched parts roto lock mount. Very handy if your a VTE2 owner
  15. Decided to add the Scorched parts roto lock mount because the stock and big block mount wont accommodate the 1717 ( 47.6mm) motor For the hoboa VTE2 Was going to go with the Hobbywing 1100kv on a big block mount but ran into issues there as well, so here is my solution. the motor in the pics is the 1520, im still waiting on the 1717 to come in along with the MMX 8S. Nice bit of kit, Scorched, always seem to be up there in quality.
  16. Got this 1520 from the Postie 1650kv 8s Will probably chuck it in my Buggy along with a MMX 8S Its only a 41.6mm "Can" and around 85mm length, so fits most platforms.
  17. Arrived home from work, found this dumped on the drive, forgot when i purchased this but arrived "eventually" hopefully lives upto the hype
  18. Hi All Can anyone recommend a heatsink + fan, or twin fans with heatsink for the 1717 castle motor 4787 ? If anyone can drop a link that would be appreciated. Many thanks
  19. Hello M8, welcome. I know your neck of the woods very well.
