Few days ago just started restoring a Team Associated SC10 4x4, rusty nuts & bolts and clicking front tranny, soaked nuts, bolts, bearings and anything metal in a tub of rust remover🤔 Today dried the bolts off and using a fresh tub.. emptied 200mm of wd40 and will leave that to soak over night, dropped all plastics into a pillow case sealed with a mini cable tie and bunged them in the washing machine at 30 Deg with a few clothes, came out great... 😁 7 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One is a genuine exhaust the other is one I made at work. Quite therapeutic doing it outside in the sun 😆. How it looked before. First stage of polishing. Finished exhaust. Well pleased with the results I did my other helicopters exhaust. Original look on left side and polished on the right hand side.
