havent ever been one for shelf queens i usually run what i have a few ive been more careful than others over the years etc but one i would love to get again and display would be my first proper rc when i was young i had one for xmas round our street every year everyone would want the same thing usually in our group be it bmxs skateboards mtbs etc this year we were into rc the old days of charging a battery for 14hrs on dads car battery and getting 7mins of pure fun haha 🤣come xmas morning we were out in the street early my neighbour steven had got a grasshopper another friend tony (who was the rich kid) received a tamiya frog !!! and another friend had got a hornet 😁 wasnt t rich growing up so i never expected much i knew my parent worked hard to pay off the home and accepted that i woke up to be the proud owner of a Nikko f1 bandit !! man i loved that thing had a 540 motor switchable 2 speed on the bottom of chassis and better runtimes than the tamiyas for some reason lol the hopper and hornet just couldnt catch it so the battles between mine and the frog were epic for me at that age it lasted a good few years until it finally died 😪at that piont it had no body just a running chassis lmao 😂but that started me on the road to love RC so will always be special to me 💗

i know that feeling glen me and my buddy were both running truggys once in a group i went over the far berm corner and was watching his car the rest of the lap as i rejoiced at him crossing the line first, he let me know i was stuck in the bushes behind the berm my face was a picture 😆made it worst cos the walk of shame followed lol love the banter with mates racing starts off so relaxed at first haha

love the bmx pump tracks glen like you said the first corners always a pile up haha i always hang back and weave through the destruction lol 🤣you can make time up the leaps usually 👍

have a look at tamiya kits brother nice and easy to build plenty of spare and hopup parts about and all different types of rc from onroad to offroad 👍you can buy a sound engine system and add but most dont come with any .

yep max 8 cant go wrong with them 👍have one running a castle motor faultless

it will also matter where your bashing when you hit someone if the insurance will pay out too 😞 like Bert said just careful and you should be ok 👍
