If your motor smokes out the cable holes thats healthy! Tested a motor that was pretty nackered. That'll be the problem, now its a 3 pole motor... Fitted the banggoodebayspecial sway bars from my outlaw to the lads outlaw, didnt use the links included as the stock ones work better than those supplied, should be less floppy on the hill climbs. 3 2 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ive spent more time today with my RCs than I have in months 🙂 Checked all the voltages on my lipo’s in storage, cleaned the X Maxx and rebuilt to Maxx I bought last night to check things over. Glad I did as the OEM rear diff was on it's last dregs of silicone fluid which is shocking as the truck was new in March this year (I bought it used but still it must of been leaking the entire time from new I'd guess). I wanted to add thicker fluids, sealed bearings on the outer more exposed ends and I always service my RC's anyway whether they're new or used ~ good excuse to fit a GPM upgrade diff casing as well. 😎 Waiting on some stainless steel screws before reassembling and hoping to tackle the more difficult to access front & centre diffs once I've more free time. Turns out the issue was the gears were rusted shut, how it even worked up to the point it failed is amazing. How they should look on the right... Pinion looked ok, so used the gears, bearings and seals from a non high voltage version of the same servo that died at sst and wola one working high voltage servo.
