This is proving to be a decent thread, interesting to see what models are held in high regard, one model i have is worth little money but its been such a workhorse i wont part with it and that is my black FTX Fury 2.0, my plan was to run it till it was done for, but absolutely nothing has failed on it, it has been way more reliable than my element enduro, just a darn good truck that really should be used more often and maybe a couple more upgrades. I am even toying with getting another fury 2.0 for my wife to use

I now have very little time for rc cars, still really like the hobby and going to keep going but most of my cars will be sold at some point, though i plan to reinvest in quality over quantity, i do have an RGT 2021 Bronco that i would NOT sell as its a cracking rig

Its one hell of a truck plenty fast enough on 2S it would be mental on 3S, just a shame i dont have right spot to run it of road

Dont build your hopes up for a V2 it will of pushed back due to shipping from China

my no sell is the Kyosho KB10l Tacoma, i treated myself to it for my 60th birthday, but i dont seem to get to use it, pretty much every other model has a price tag

I have a nice fiat 131 MF-01 rally and a TT-02 honda civic rally/touring these work out sensible price new but you have to build them, i am looking at selling mine as i am cutting back so you could look out for mint used model to get started

the last ones in the links with blue shields seem to be the ones most often sold for rc cars

Nice, i have the basic red one super scale looks but not keeping it, its on the list of models to sell on

I have ended up spending on my hi trail Ford, having rolled it a few times managed to break the mirrors, i have been super glueing them but decided new ones while they are still available, i think all the outback stuff in rear bed is making it a little top heavy, going to look at more low weight

All the talk of 1/16th bashers, finally got round to changing radio in the MJX Hypergo as the stock radio has more lag than is good for it, so hooked up a HotRC DS4 radio now its goodbye throttle lag, i can always use the old radio in a crawler of some kind, truck is about 2 years old now and still going strong

Nice, are you using analogue fpv, if so DO NOT look at DJI HD fpv if you do there will be no going back

Yep and like they say you cant take it with you, if you knew how much i have spent on my return to carp fishing you would be posting a shocked pic! i do feel sorry for people buying this model as traxxas could of and should of done a better job on this, and i have mentioned before but my 2 year old 1/16th 3S capable hypergo is still going strong nowt broke other than a bent wheelie bar, but i will also say IF Traxxas had put strong diff`s in from the start this mini maxx would of been a nicer truck

Defo cheaping out on costs seems plastic bushes in diff`s with play as well thats never gonna work, give me an MJX any day they are a good model

seems those stock diffs can only just about handle stock out of box 2S set up

Not so sure the Flysky FS-6x range is open source, i have been using them in both versions for a long time and never heard that said

Flysky do some radio`s that have model memory i was (still am) selling a GT3B with 5 rx`s and Li-Ion battery conversion and can still get rx`s for flysky also DumboRC do a model memory radio but not sure how good it is, but if your happy with what your using do you need to change

Yep the first incarnation was a little hit and miss but on the grapevine this mk2 is said to be a good un, i had the early one and it was real fast especially when it hit me in the ankle

Yes MT10 is always a good choice but also the Maverick MT is getting a lot of good reviews this is an updated one but its also a large 1/10th https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/maverick-quantum2-mt-flux-1-10th-monster-truck-green-1358717 if you wanted 1/14th fast and strong there is also models from MJX hypergo range
