  1. looking good, part of me is slightly tempted with this axial but i guess i best stick to the plan, maybe get this at a later date https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/axial-1-24-scx24-dodge-power-wagon-4wd-rock-crawler-brushed-rtr-green-1353668
  2. Thanks for the input and advice, was going to order today but no one in to take delivery so gonna have to wait a week, but i may be able to collect while out on my deliveries.....if i can get a truck into modelsport car park
  3. I think i will go with 32% underdrive does pinion come of easy enough
  4. Nearly ready to order the trx4m f-150 but im gonna want the lower ratio gears for transmission, i guess best get the metal gears and seems pinion needs swapping is this about right
  5. I would love a crawler course in back garden but i think mrs wolf would not be happy at all
  6. Lovely run out this morning, really enjoyed it
  7. If i did not already have 3 different Dumbo radios and the flysky GT3b i would get one of these
  8. Yes its made by Dumbo and branded Absima but still says Dumbo on the wheel lol

no this is about all i can find so far, looks to have portals and Hobby plus tend to use metal gears, i will take a guess at 2 speed box, they can jolly well take my money on this one just on the looks

    4. Gaz!

      Gaz!

I really like this idea, would be better if the cab was a little bigger though.

otherwise id be very tempted although i have no real use for it truth be told….

  13. I have found the more budget tyres like from Injora dont seem to give there best till they have had a few runs, a bit of breaking in
  14. Here is my DumboRC X6PM-350 6 channel, i find this a lovely radio to use, all the buttons illuminate when pressed showing what channel is in use, it will do multi model but does not store so a case of binding a car to the TX if you want to change over, not all that practical but then this TX is only £23 on Banggood i added the wide elastic bands to the wheel to assist with one handed driving
  15. Might have to ask you about some left over stuff you may have when i get the F-150
  16. Nice but cant help think the big 370 may be overkill it would for me
  17. Dumborc naff name but quality kit, very good radio
  18. Don't do the oven method, I would try soaking the rims in isopropylene and leaving it for a few days
  19. I guess not room for a Li-Ion pack in there, i made an 18650 3S 1P pack for my flysky gt3 and only charge it about 3 times a year and unlike a lipo the Li-Ion battery likes to be left charged
  20. 100% agree on my original one i taped over the logo, but now i just live with the brand name
  21. This is new as in not run other than testing indoors, and its built on the FTX 1/10 builders kit, has mg servo and 540 brushless motor with 60 amp esc, no radio supplied and body is HPI focus, this car has a bit of a tight diff not sure if front or back but with wheel nuts nipped up it binds a bit so needs sorting price is £100 collected or £115 posted economy with Evri
