If you’re going for a fancy TT-02 have a look at these. Got lots of shiny bits, more up to date suspension parts and hex screws.

@BigGinge I couldnt work out which one was better of the R vs SR

Ours was just a tragic accident. We went away for the night and Benji was staying at my Mrs Dads. He let him in the garden, didnt see him fall in the pond (some how!). We arrived home minutes/maybe even seconds too late. Went in garden to get him, couldnt see him and then we noticed him floating…… 😢
Got him out, tried to resucitate him, rushed him to out of hours vets but was too late. Just a horrific image, leaving us feeling guilty as hell, thinking what we couldve done differently.
He was 17, and quite poorly. Had to wear a nappy as had no control over his bladder, his back legs were almost gone and he used to spin in circles. But for 5 minutes a day. He was a Puppy. Full of life. Its not the fact he has gone. Its the circumstances and our final memory of him, potentially alone, scared and struggling.
These passed few days have been horrific, but we move on. Love you boy 🐶❤️

Woke up early feeling fresh. Went to the Gym, went for an hour and 15 minute walk…….. then ruined everything but nailing a cheeseboard and through a Camembert in the oven haha

Unbelievable Black Friday sales from Horizon for American Market, absolutely zero for the UK according to what I can see on Horizon UK/Logic. I think its time to realise NO RC Company cares about the UK Market……

yeah shame there isnt many uk rc brands and with declining local hobby shops around anymore makes it worst unless you like places like antics that dont seem to know anything about rcs at all, reminds me years ago when i had my traxxas stampede vxl i had a problem with the way the leads were soldered to the main board on the esc it was widely known back them until they changed it as they kept snapping off and i didnt solder back then so i dropped traxxas a email to see what they would do and fairplay they gave me a contact email to get it fixed i fired off an email a nice guy replied saying he would help and sort it he gave me an address at the time which i thought was wierd not a hobby shop or industrial site was a normal house address lol it was local so asked if i could pop round instead of posting the guy was awesome and said yeah after 6pm when he got back from work i started thinking WTF and yep it was a normal house of a family who proceeded to solder it out on his kitchen table while his wife and kids ate in the living room haha was bizarre 😂turnt out he was the local traxxas tech for the south west lmao 👍

@Bajadrehow long ago was that? I appreciate people think my Traxxas obsession is bizarre and potentially unethical, but my reasoning is Ive always been a Traxxas guy, since when they was arguably the tiny up and comer in the UK. The same way people have an affection for Tamiya, I was a Traxxas lad, with a Rustler, complete with MSC, and a clear body shell. I dont think they had a UK Distributor, and the internet wasnt massive (I used to have to phone Modelsport, order my bits from the catalogue, and pass my Dad the phone to give his card details). But you could literally phone Traxxas UK, and they would sell you parts directly. They’d often remember your name as you phoned. They were a tinY entity in the UK. I eventually upgraded everything on that Rustler. As when I got a bit of money, Id ring them up and order whatever part was broken, or an upgrade. The only way Id know its an upgrade is wqs buy looking on the sheet of paper snd looking for the part numbers in bold. I had that Rustler for probably 12 years, it eventually ended up with a ‘state of the art’ Novak SS Brushless system. As time went on I used to frequent the (at the time) extremely popular Traxxas Forum, and get upgrades from Tower Hobbies whenever I could afford. I I bet if RC cars had a mileage counter, that Rustler would have more miles on it than my 200 odd RCs since put together.
Traxxas are erm, a different company in 2022, and theyve got a loyal UK Customer here waiting for an XRT and 2x TRX4Ms, and he is that annoyed with the current state of play he is considering sacking the hobby off completely after nearly 30 years…..

way way back K prob a few months after they launched i got it ex display from msuk webby they had amazing deals back then in the day etc came with a 7cell nimh and charger haha seemed fast as hell back then 😂i was lucky as they did a odd few parts on here i think only thing i ever broke on it was the wheelie bar part they took such a beating 😎she ended up getting converted to a rustler in the end then swopped for a baja pipe off a mate for his young son lol

Now Qatar is pretending to be 'more liberal' coz they know the civilised world is looking at them, and asking how we ended up here.
Next, perhaps, they will look at how many immigrant workers dies building the fancy stadium.
37 workers died working on the project directly...80% recorded as 'natural causes' ( heart or respiratory failure) which basically means worked to death in the hot sun.
In total 6700 migrant workers have died in Qatar since they got awarded the project. Thats a little over 2 dead every single day. For 12 years.
Kind of makes you think.

Covid free for 3 days now, so back to work. Nights this week 😩

Don't need to buy all things Traxxas - but i very much disagree that an X-Maxx does what a low CG truggy does. It just doesn't. The question is whether or not that's important to you - admittedly, it's actually not that important to me either. I just fancy another big rig. And yeah, it's not going to be cheaper than the X-Maxx, which sits at £1100 itself.
Still want one, wanted a big truggy for a while now but the Kraton didn't do it for me.

After what 2/3 years of working right through the Covid Pandemic, Ive finally caught it, on my week off work…….

I genuinely do not watch TV at all other than sports, been watching a hell of a lot of Youtube stuff lately. Does anyone know if you can 'pay' for Youtube Premium for like a year? I dont like monthly payments/subscriptions? Mainly I want it to play in the background when the apps closed?

iPhone
@Jack Reacher Cant see that option in the UK? Hmm
