I don't have any of those RCs, but my Kraton ran 50k/100k/30k f/c/r. Some people run 200k in the centre.

Since you have a decent selection there, just go from there - there really isn't a must-have selection because you tune to your liking. Some people like it tighter, others less so.

  5. I’ll pm you PayPal details, unless you want to collect? Are you near Guildford at all?
  6. Hi, I'm interested in the trx4m for £130. My friend seen it and knew that I've been looking for one. Please get back to me. Thank you.

  7. Best budget servos for 1/8 buggy? The nanda servos are terrible!! Life r/x pack on its way so I don’t want to go ott on this car, what kg for steering & what for brake/throttle? I’m thinking Amazon specials but what kg can I skimp with.

you can go less KG but as you say it can struggle a bit

To be fair, 25+kg on steering is pretty stout. More than i'd throw at it. Personally i run 15-20kg, with more focus on the "fast" part - 0.10 sec or less.

25kg and up, for me, is more truggy territory. No idea about throttle servos though, i don't do nitro.

Also depends on how fast you need it - good budget servo options available on ali, but of course they take a while to arrive. BLS-HV25MG for example,

Stupid fast, and 18kg at 6v - plenty. For me personally, anyway. I ran my pretty heavy Typhon 6s on a 20kg servo, didn't need more. 9imod as well as DMOND (brushless variants) are currently all the rage in terms of budget servos, if you can wait for them to arrive. Otherwise.. I guess Power HD is always a reasonable choice, though not as cheap anymore as they once were. They're decent (somewhat slow though) enough.

  8. Ahh shame, buggy truggy or MT 1/8 is all I’m really in for a trade. 👍 I’ll pm you RE the dx4c receiver 👍

@Masterdave I’ll let you know in a few days but I’ll say it’s easy as it’s an SH.21 engine pretty solid budget engine as standard.👍

  11. Bump, £130 posted & fees inc. only as I want a new nitro.
