Jens Posted December 31, 2020 Share Posted December 31, 2020 Not RC related, but still cars and racing. 😇 After my kiddo got the top one for Christmas (Verstappen vs Sir Lewis Hamilton), I added the bottom one to have a longer circuit. They are for those days when the RC cars are out of order or when we have an indoor mood. And since Scalextric is the dominant brand here (with the prices accordingly) I chose to get the Austrian/German Carrera brand (an important brand of my childhood). Expensive in Germany/Austria/France/US but dirt cheap here. The F1 box (battery operated) was just £10 and the Mario DS £22 off the bay. ( And 2 more boxes with loopings, lane changers and counters are on the way ) Eventually I will put a permanent race circuit on a MDF board. What I like about the Go system, is that I can use a mains or battery connector. Easy to race anywhere.
