  1. Nice one. I did use a hair dryer thinking it would do just that but even on the hottest setting after a couple minutes it wouldn’t budge. I think it was that I used purple before on 1/8 scale and it didn’t really seem to do too much so I bought the blue. And then having not done anything with the red stuff after 18 months came back to it and just used the blue; but you’re right it’s definitely too good for 1/10 scale.
  2. Thank you. unfortunately I need to change the chassis having built most of it. Won’t be using blue loctite again, After threading a bolt halfway and leaving it for a minute I ended up stripping the bolt, drilling it out did not go so well… 😅
  3. So after a sabbatical from the hobby I’m picking it up again with Tamiya SR build. I have a fastrax (and yeah racing motor mount which does not fit to the motor) and I can see from the Tamiya manual you have to fit the motor to mount a certain way depending on the pinion gear. However, the Fastrax mount comes with no manual at all. Do I have to fit the bolts in a certain position aside from getting a nice fit in the gearing? Thanks for all help offered
  4. Probably One of my all time favourites, so powerful. For you.
  5. Found this song recently and on a decent hifi system sounds just awesome…
  6. Completely ripped off a portion of the tyre. Thankfully replaced under warranty!
  7. so when you said ripping and showed the picture of your tyre ripped did you mean coming unglued? because I wrote, “ yeah same”
  8. it looked like it literally exploded off the rim, probably about 1/5 of the tyre. The rest of the tyre is glued. so if they’re preglued you’re recommending removing the seal and regluing them with pound shop super glue?
  9. @Bajadre Yeah it wasn’t that.
  10. So we’ve had the Granite 3s BLX since last Christmas and it’s been out a reasonable number of times but not loads. When I’ve taken it out or when I’ve used it I’ve always run for some time at 100% throttle and always on grass. A couple weeks ago a tyre burst, I had not experienced it before so assumed it must have hit something although there was nothing obvious. So I ordered some replacements, on wheels, and within 15-20 minutes the new tyre blew but this time I saw it happen right in front of me, again, on grass. I’m not satisfied obviously that this should happen and am going to seek a warranty replacement but any thoughts on this except to consider replacement with Pro-line which I have read may be better? Thanks.
