  1. No idea what it was but after stripping and rebuilding is working again 🤷‍♂️
  2. Tbh I hadn’t even looked at the front diff (I’m an idiot) I just assumed it was the part I had taken off. I’ll take a look.
  3. So I was doing some repairs to my FTX Bugsta and now I have the issue that the back wheels turn but there is nothing/very little happening at the front. I have only tested this with wheels off on my desk. I'm suspecting possibly a slipper clutch issue, does this sound feasible? I noticed the ring in the picture is loose, but can’t recall if it was loose to begin with, can anyone advise if I am even close to the possible issue?
  4. Got mine today, does it have a Lipo cut off already, does anyone know, I weirdly haven’t been able to find out online so far?
  5. I assume using the included charger using just the balance cable is much slower?
  6. Today I received my new toy 😜and it comes with a deans connection (which I will be getting an adaptor for to convert to xt60). However the included charger literally only connects via what I knew as the balance cable. With my skyrc-200 I’ve always plugged in the xt60s and the balance cable to balance lipos. So I am a little confused this new car charges just via the balance cable. I’m assuming my understanding is wrong again but can someone advise me please? Also if I want to charge via my Skyrc200 am I correct to have a deans to xt60 converter and then plug both that and the balance cable into the skyrc200? Still learning 😀
  7. @lorrylemming thank you for the advice my batteries are all good!
  8. Thank you, thought I was getting better with my knowledge of all things RC but I still have much to learn
  9. Yesterday I upgraded my RC boat from a now broken Temu special to a Voltanex SR48 brushless. Loved it but much to my disappointment and now I suspect to the loss of a battery it does not have a low battery warning alarm. Firstly can anyone recommend a boat suitable (ie light) alarm for use with 3s lipos. Particularly one that won’t reduce run time too much. Secondly if my batteries are below 20% now are they bugg***d? The readings are pictures below thanks
  10. The boat is trashed and binned so don’t worry about posting. Hope to buy a decent replacement when I can justify it 😜
  11. Also can I easily convert the boat to a more readily available two pin by simply soldering the two reds and two blacks together as I assume the only reason it is using four is to make the manufacturing simpler as the servo and motor can be connected separately without soldering?
  12. So I bought a cheap Temu boat which was a brilliant little boat which I had a lot of fun with. However I have discovered all 3 battery packs that came with it are not at the full voltage which is why every time I take it out is starts beeping at me. Additional detail including pictures I am struggling to find these batteries apart from on eBay, according to the label they are Li-ion 7.4v 700mah with the weird sm4p connectors I’ve seen a lot of 360mah batteries to replace them but these were 700 so don’t want to lose the run time. Also with xt60 I could use my sky tc200 to charge it better. Any thoughts on my options to convert, ie what do I do with the four wires to make it just two, can I just solder?
  13. Hi, first post in the boat section I think. So I bought a cheap Temu boat as I live by a canal and thought I wanted to try rc boating but don’t have much of a budget and didn’t want to spend money on something I might not enjoy. It arrived and worked for a couple of months. However now I am going out placing in the water and within about 2 minutes it beeps to indicate either the battery is low or out of range. It definitely isn’t out of range and I have even bought a battery tester to check the boat batteries. The odd thing is it does it with all three battery packs I have but when I bring it home to take a look it runs fine after switching off and on, but when at the canal it doesn’t last. What on earth can be causing this? e.g. went to the canal, all three batteries started it beeping within 2 minutes of sailing around. Got home 5 minutes later, holding throttle down and it just keeps going, no beeps no issues at all. Any ideas welcome apart from spend more on a new boat 😆
  14. Thanks, I get obsessed with getting the next thing but wasn’t sure whether this was the right choice so thanks for your opinion
  15. Does anyone have any insight or opinion on my query?
