Popular Post BigGinge
It’s pretty good. Not super fast but handles well on the flatter grippier sections. Suspect it would benefit from some thicker diff oil to get a bit more traction under acceleration on slippier surfaces. A bit more ground clearance wouldn’t hurt either for the trails round the forest we were on today. Have also realised just how many little nooks and crannies there are on the interesting looking chassis. It may never be clean again now. 2

Popular Post cooper_xl
Got these 2.2" Roost to mount the big Deep Woods on the AR60s. I have both for a long time still with no clear idea on what I'll do with them

Popular Post .AJ. Popular Post DannyP
Dug the old Rustler out the shed to get it running for my daughter. I knew the motor was dead but suspected the diff was as well. Little bath in degreaser for the diff parts. Cleaned and inspected. All looks good so that will be rebuilt with some fresh grease. After removing the rear end I noticed the hub bearings were shot. Seized to the shaft so these are now in a ACF-50 bath and I'll attempt to remove them tomorrow. May as well rip the whole thing apart and replace all the bearings and get it all fresh again.
wombat
Fitted a hobbywing 1060 and dumbo tx and rx to the coyote, then fitted the coyote gear to the buggy project to give it a drag brake Now got a basic ftx set up spare, might have to get a cheap boat to fit it in 🤔
Popular Post totlxtc
Did a couple of upgrades. Got a good chance to try out my new Dewalt 680 screwdriver. Awesome bit of kit! Ally steering plate. Replaced the 3 hole servo horn for a 2 hole as it was interfering with the body. And then…I had a crack at doing my first body! I got given an airbrush FOC but it wasn’t working too great so decided to use Bittydesign liquid mask and good ol Tamiya PS. One thing i learnt. Never use those both together again! Anyway. I thought it was ok for a first try. Ordered a 22 rear brace so i can mount the rear of the body.

Good to see someone running nitro, especially a Savage, did you get the upgraded shocks sorted as I think they were leaking, think you got a good deal with all the added parts.

BigGinge
The weather doesn’t look to bad tomorrow so I figured I should get the window masks on the Lancia in case I get a chance to paint it.

Yep i just rebuilt all the shocks and gave them a good clean while i was there - they seem to be holding up well and are much smoother than the stock shocks! Very pleased with it, just don't get to run it enough! 13 hours ago, Alex97 said: How busy is it down there mid week? Very quiet Alex, it can be a little busier during half term or the week before a big event but generally there's only a handful of people midweek 11 hours ago, QRC said: I am going this Friday hopefully drier weather …😂 Fingers crossed for drier weather, i should've taken the boat yesterday! Hope you enjoy, i'll be working unfortunately!
