  1. Iwould use gt85, lithium grease will attract dirt etc. In my axles i use some blue waterproof marine grease that i used for kingpins and bearings when i used to offroad a 1.1 suzuki jimny πŸ˜€
  2. I fitted the kraken claws to my injora rock buggy and find them excellent, a lot better than the super swampers i origionally fitted . They are quite tall though I also have a set of the injora comp pins, that seem to be unstoppable, handling mud, roots, wet and dry rock with impunity., only slight downside is they do not look as scale as chunky tyres, but perform far better πŸ˜€
  3. Hi, will charge perfectly as you describe, i use a skyrc 100 and charge my hypergo batteries the same way. I only use the supplied charger if i take the mjx on holiday, but always storage charge with the skyrc when i get home πŸ˜€
  4. Hi, first I would check the steering is in channel 1 on the receiver, and throttle in channel 2. If that's ok try rebinding the receiver to the transmitter
  5. Excellent, love the backing track, can see why you went for the green one ,πŸ‘πŸ‘
  6. @Lone-wolf, that looks awesome 😎
  7. Hi, the part you found looks like the remains of a bearing cage, so I would suspect that the wheel bearing has collapsed, which could account for the noise. Don't run the car as it is, you could damage the wheel hub as well
  8. I'd be up for that, just over 2 hrs journey so not too bad, hopefully sort something when weather improves πŸ‘
  9. I just use a cheap rucksack from sports direct. Its handy to be able to fasten muddy vehicles to the ouside, easier to clean
  10. Both trucks looking good there.πŸ˜€ Going to check google maps later, see how long it will take me to get there πŸ€”
  11. I find if I want to download pics from my laptop it won't let me, but from my phone it works every time
  12. Brings back memories, had a cheeky wild camp in one of the cottages about 30 years ago, they had roofs on then 🀫
  13. It depends on how much charge is in the battery, it takes longer to discharge down to storage level than to charge up to it
  14. 1.9 Injora comp pin tyres, shiny wheels to fit them to. Ordered from AliExpress last Friday, got home from a few days away and sat here waiting for me, can't be bad 😁
  15. Hi, like you I have a 16208, don't know about 3s, but zeee do a 2200 50c shorty that fits, just ordered some for mine, might be worth checking out their 3s shortys
  16. Love it, 😍, if I had the space and funds would get one tomorrow, but would have to sell 2 possibly 3 of mine, and I only have 1 i would think of selling, possibly one for the future πŸ˜₯
  17. Looks like it should fit, mine looks different because its all metal in one piece, came from aliexpress' As for tyres been running mine on axial ripsaw tyres which are excellent, and more recently using some hyrax copies from injora, which perform very well, Yours looks to have pretty decent tyres on it as it stands
  18. As I said, never had a problem with the centre shafts, even using 2s. It's worth fitting the angled main steering arm from an axial scx 10 to avoid it hitting the diff and filing the lugs off the front hubs to improve the steering angle πŸ˜‰
  19. That looked good, got me thinking, would it be possible to seal the hull and waterproof the electrics to make it fully amphibious
  20. Just checked, with on end disconnected the shortest length os 115mm, don't know about length as shaft comes apart, but fitted with suspension at full droop the shaft measures 140mm end to end Saw that green one, looked impressive and hardly used πŸ‘
  21. Don't know about shaft length but can check for you tomorrow. Was it one of the two decent looking ones that have just been on ebay ?, was nearly tempted myself but can't justify another one πŸ˜’
  22. I would see how they last, never had a problem with mine. Have you got the mauler 2 with the better electrics. Another good upgrade is metal beadlocks and better tyres, but they are very capable as standard
  23. Hi from an ftx mauler fanboy , i currently have 2 in my collection, the old one has a traxxass rx , tx and esc, metal diffs and has never let me down since i bought it 2nd hand 3 years ago, although now it has a proline cliffhanger body on it. My other one is the mauler 2 version, which comes with upgraded etronix electics and a very programmable transmitter. This one will also be getting a cliffhanger body when the weather gets warm enough to spray it. Parts are readily available and cheap for these and i cannot imagine not having one as they are so capable
  24. I really like that, excellent job πŸ‘
