  1. Imagine if you went up to your employer who pays you and you said "I have done work. Buy me a coffee". I am sure that would go down well 😄

It's when I see people mod boxes to run LIPOs. How can that even be safe!!!

Versus the WIZBEC, which was a 3 battery mod and a lot of metal this thing is light as a feather! It's actually lighter than the WIZBEC with no batteries in. EDIT: Oh and thankfully its USB-C chargeable so can use my other charge leads. Apple - take note.

So I was doing it all wrong in the end. So cut a long story short. About 8 years ago I got a Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm tank and a WISMEC RX200 mod. I did really well getting off the smokes until I lost my job and got back on the smokes. Forward to a few months ago and I got back to the ol vape. I was using Vampire Vape Heisenberg which I used before. Its a 50/50 VG/PG. This appears to of been my problem. I kept trying different flavours and each time they just didn't taste nice at all! Like slightly burnt chemicals. But persisted and ended up liking Black Jack. Then I couldn't find it in the shops anymore. Then came the issue of coils. As the tank was old and coils were getting hard to find I needed to look into a new tank and possibly a new mod. This is where I stumbled across the fact that with a Sub Ohm tank you need to be using a high VG liquid!!! So had a look around and went and got an Geekvape Aegis Legend 2 kit (Mod would be £44.99, tank £28.99 - Kit was £48.99...obvious sale on the kit) which came with a free Doozy Blue Razz Berry....and OMFG...its a different world!!! This is amazing!!! So much better and I have FLAVOUR without the headaches too! So I got another one for my brother to try and modded them both 😄 BEFORE: AFTER:
  5. So with a distinct lack of RC action in my life at the moment and funds at an all time low...I was SOOO bored at the weekend. So took the 'Baked Bean' (as my daughter has called it) out to take some pics.
  6. Put a little dirt on it and “What do you mean another car? I have clearly had it ages love!”
  7. Halfords fitted the dashcam...

...and did an awesome job! Really happy. Went around and checked and done really well and nice and neatly. Technician was really helpful.

How about the rest of the car, they may have installed your dash cams for you, and installed them in the right places and so that they work, but what did they screw up on your car that was fine before you let them near it?

Nothing what so ever @Grogg. Car is perfectly fine. Maybe I am your Ying to your Yang of commerce experience.

@totlxtc It had nothing to do with me, I had long since gotten rid of my car - and yes my first work car was a complete lemon of a car but in fairness it was a Porsche, and broken up with her.  It was purely 100% her and her car, with no involvement from me.  They really did a bodge job of it, display completely ruined, even the plastics broken - not just the speedo and other information being displayed being damaged but the screen and plastic highlights markers, rear bumper snapped in several places, rear cameras incorrectly placed even after several extremely obvious attempts, electronics completely screwed - to the point of being irreparable and needing a complete new wiring harness for the entire car

  8. …last one didnt last long and it wasnt even on the basher!! 🤣
  9. If you are going to use a scalpel then be bloody careful. Do not put as much pressure on it as they can snap with ease. Being carbon steel it means they are bloody sharp but brittle. Stay away from the 10 blade (big curved). They are only good for surgery. 11s are just too pointy to be of use. 15s are ok, but ideally you want a pointed blade. 10a is the one you want. Have used these for modelling for past 30 years. PS-If you are using a rule to cut down, dont use a plastic rule, use a metal rule. The top 1/4 inch of my thumb can vouch for that. 11. Im sorry…but im laughing my butt off over here! 🤣🤣🤣
  12. Hi Dan, cant see the pics. Not showing for me. I can help with identifying for you for sure. If its an XB4 then a lot has not changed since 2013. The main changes over the years are: 1) Chassis usually changes over the model years resulting in different battery/servo/esc/motor positions 2) Batteries were mounted in pairs up to 2015 3) Suspension towers changed once (think about 2013/14) 4) Bulkheads have been the same up to 2022 where they added adjustable diff height 5) Bodies have changed but most fit or need different mounts (e.g. you can put a 2022 body on a 2016 car if you get the 2022 rear mount and shims) 6) Front bumper changed after 2018 Once I see your car I can tell you. The look for the explosion diagram of your model and you can see what parts you can get. I run a 2018 and parts are super easy to get. If you have trouble im sure i can help out as I have about 5 cars worth here! 🤣🤣🤣
  13. Do your friends call you “Lucky”? 🍀 Seems like everyone is out to rip you off or rob you! 🤣🤣🤣
  14. Anyone had a dashcam fitted by Halfords. Im happy to do the front but the rear looks a real pain to do.

2020 Clio. Im not going to be able to go via the centre console as there is no access points there. Would have to be across the headliner, down the a-pillar to the fuse box, then from there, under the doorsil and round and up the rear through the rear brakelight.

  15. Get a VDSL2 router. Plenty out there for choice. Netgear are pretty reliable from my experience.
  16. Far cheaper to make your own.
  17. 1.5, 2 and 2.5 hex bits (MIP or Arrowmax) Electric screwdriver Long nose pliers Side cutters 3M VHB tape Body scissors A multi wrench 5.5 and 7mm nut driver Self adhesive velcro I would say they are the basics
  18. Looks crap without the AMG badges 😋
  19. Yup. First time id try and land that and it would be match wood. Only way you would get it back is with a metal detector and a spade.
  20. I had one of those £20 rtr helicopters and launched it onto the xmas tree. Does that count??
