  1. Think this will get closed as you need to state a price due to site rules 👍
  2. Look into engine durability as well. Eg what engine the HPI uses and what engine the FTX uses
  3. LRP sounds familiar from back in the day Also remember SMC (I think?) And Sanyo and GP I'm sure Also remember people matching the cells with cell matchers etc 👍
  4. Damn how much of an improvement did it make? I have the wires all soldered up from ages ago when I wanted to do it but never got round
  5. But Nitro fuel is expensive now.... cheaper to go 2 Stroke Petrol when you work it out Per L 🙂
  6. My HPI Trophy Truggy Flux takes a good beating and don't think I've damaged anything major just the stock servo and pinion. Parts seem easy to get hold of
  7. Just wondering has anyone flashed their GT3B with the psx firmware? If so do you loose your preset models and have to re configure them all?? Thanks 👍
  8. So far so good 👍 Had a blow out with the stock tyres fitted New Badlands and snapped a front drive shaft lol
  9. Since the issue of water getting in the ESC and my truggy flying away full throttle I have done some waterproofing 👍 Coated it in proper 2k Spies Hecker Lacquer and then some silicone sealant to seal the case. Warranty void..... lol..
  10. It's still alive it seems 🙂 Now to waterproof it I've seen conformal coating used on videos, has anyone used this and is Silicone CC the one to get or is the Acrylic CC just as good? Thanks
  11. If it has survived can spray on wax be used to waterproof it? Eg BiltHamber as I have this in the garage - https://bilthamber.com/product/dynax-uc/ Or is there another waterproofing method (apart from getting a waterproof esc lol)
  12. Had the HPI Truggy Flux on the beach and it was quite wet , anyway, I went to change battery, fitted the new one and got lots of cell count beeps instead of just 4 and then it just shot off full throttle. All I could do was steer lol. anyway it flipped over and sat at full throttle then finally stopped and I managed to discount the pack. The ESC is Stock which is a HobbyWing but don't think it's waterproof... It was fun while it lasted lol
  13. Got this from Gaz, so far added a Larger Lipo mounted to the front for more weight and tested it out on some logs for the wood burner. Nice little truck:-D
  14. Coooool that should keep up with my Smart Car
