Im sure this 8kg will hold up in the meantime. It’s my first Power HD failure and its been in over a year so can’t complain (except they have got dearer!). I gave the plastics a quick wash in some soapy water to get rid of the grot. I didn't want to scrub at the spider poo marks as I don't want to put any blemishes on the otherwise mint body. I also didn't glue any bits together, they're all held on with masking tape. I thought the next owner might want them separate for painting.
