Rikardo Dust Posted September 2, 2013 Share Posted September 2, 2013 Was actually yesterday but... raced the 8T at mmrx, won all my heats bar one where I finished second, qualified 2nd for the B final and finished 3rd after a poor start, bumped up to A final starting 13th and finished 9th, not too shabby to say it was my first proper race (first race engine was half dead so only managed a couple of heats) and that was out of 39 nitro drivers 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Won't be buying another of those, plastic welded seams for strength, my backside Still working on the A pillars on the Holiday Buggy...a solution will be found! Popular Post XV Pilot Posted September 2, 2013 Popular Post Share Posted September 2, 2013 (edited) Today I got around to modifying my CC01 Pajero's Junfac front skidplate so that it could be fitted along with the RadshapeRC bullbar I bought the other day. I am very pleased with how it looks: While it doesn't do the front departure angle any favours, it makes up for this in scale appearance. I am quite pleased with how it fits with the Junfac front skidplate with only minor filing of the skidplate edges. I'm trying inserting the LED's into a block of transparent perspex, to attach behind the 'red clear' painted rear lights. Should work, but I'll only see how effective it is once the LED kit comes. Tamiyacowboy Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 glued up the pusher/tug boat hull with 2mm balsa sheet. ripped out two stuffing tubes and shafted props from a kiidies toy boat ( later to be converted to huge brushless/ .90 nitro ) left the lid of the glue and found that it gets a weird like skin on the top thats makes you wonder what if you poke your finger onto it , what happens, then you find out and grab the nearest thing to wipe fingers on, Namely that nice boat hull you just sanded LOL !!!! yep fun and games in the cowboys mancave Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
