Had 6 months or so away from the hobby due to the fantastic weather not permitting me to do anything electric TC based at our club. Will be heading over for a practice tomorrow morning providing I can get the car back together! - could be interesting / depressing.

I got a Bitty Design Striker the other week. Not bothered painting it yet because it was awful as soon as I cut it out. The sides sprung out about an inch each side and it looks ridiculous. Really disappointed because I had high hopes for the bitty design shells. Will get the Nardo soon and see if it restores my faith in the brand.

I think if awesomatix carry on gaining popularity and put some high profile wins under their belts this season, the other manufacturers would have to take notice and start stealing ideas! I think the problem at the minute is people being too dependant on the familiarity of current TC designs - Maybe shaft driven cars will make a comeback.. I'd also like Serpent to design a new TC from scratch! -
Just taken Chassis out to dry it off completely - the front belt was twisted and was touching the pinion... Wonder if that was the cause of my problems - maybe corrosion x wasn't to blame.. That'll show me for running my belts too loose.

Turns out it's not as good as people say it is. P*ssed it down in the finals today - 3 laps in the car starts cogging, stopping and starting by itself so ended up retiring. Looks like I'm going to have to set a proper wet car up with a plastic tub.

Raced it, 2nd in first qualifier, 1st in the second and third, retired in the final. Corrosion x didn't work as well as i'd hoped..

if you can afford it, buy the best chassis you can - in the long run you'll end up spending more by buying an entry level car then outgrowing it sooner than you think.. Touring cars become seriously addictive and you'll find yourself forever wanting more gear.

Those require an external power supply. It will need more than a 5amp laptop power supply because it is capable of charging at more than 5amp. You'll burn the laptop supply out.

iPhone 4 16gb unlocked to all networks. Fairly good condition, light scratching to front and back, nothing drastic, no chips or cracks. All works fine. No headphones included for hygiene reasons. Case included.

haha I'm starting to feel pressured now. I'll be taking my bat and ball home soon if this carries on. Its all grease, gears and starter boxes with those lot.

Surprisingly not - Nitro lads are messy f**kers. I don't think many of them know that electricity exists. Ill take a picture on Sunday. I can't do iCharger. Doesn't sit well in my mind.

haha maybe so.. I appreciate design as well as function. Probably more so sometimes which is why I have no money left at the end of each month!! I also get ridiculed at halifax for having a case/place for everything.

Sorry mate i'm sure they're great - I just can't do it! Plus ideally I'd like to build on the charger eventually and have it work with (visually and physically) with the rest of my pit table, which is why Muchmore and Sky RC caught my eye. Sad, i know.

I'm the same - only ever used ProtoFrom Mazda 6! I quite like the look of the Bitty Design Nardo though.
