  1. I've got one too, had it a couple of months now and its an excellent bit of kit. Only minor problem i had with the build was a very slight mismatch in the machining where the hinge pin brace fits over the chassis but i gave it a quick lick with a file and all was good! other than that it all went together great and its a pleasure to drive although i do think its a little overpriced to say the nitro version is
  2. It won't cause any damage, just probably need to retune when you switch
  3. Should be fine mate! better a bit tight than loose, you don't want it bouncing round inside the box do ya
  4. Nimh- http://www.modelsport.co.uk/orion-1600-receiver-pack-standard-hump-uni-plug-/rc-car-products/25899 Lipo- http://www.modelsport.co.uk/losi-7.4v-1000mah-2s-lipo-pack-losi-ten-t-/rc-car-products/35582 Both of those should be fine mate, the gen3 radio tray comes with 2 different batt compartment lids for those 2, not sure which 8ight you have?
  5. I've got that nova p5 combo in my 8ight 3.0 and its a banging motor for the price! there's just something about a purple head that gets my juice's flowing
  6. Swap the connections over for the throttle/steering servo's on the receiver and try it! If the throttle servo still doesn't respond it's probably borked! If it does then it's something to do with radio/receiver!
  7. They do 2 versions of that fastrax enduro, a pull start one and a non pullstart one! Not sure if they do both versions with the pipe combo or not! Personally I have the nova p5xlt, excellent engine for the price, about 170 for the p5 and 9901 pipe combo from bmm racing
  8. at about 4;30 he explains about a lean hsn causing it to not idle properly, good vid to watch all way through tho
  9. try swapping the throttle and steering over on the receiver and see if it works? nvm just realized its electric
  10. sounds like you are still too lean on the hsn, richen it 1/4 of a turn an try again
  11. Yeah it does bud, not sure if you can alter everything, but you can defo alter basic stuff with it
  12. the savage is an excellent truck m8 and that looks like a decent one you've landed there, fingers crossed
  13. looks ace bud, an that neo track looked amazing, how did you do?
  14. think you need to connect them in parallel but don't take that as gospel, i'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will be along soon
  15. My TLR 8ight E 3.0, freshly built Reppin msuk
  16. Also, you might have more luck in the bash/meet up section http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/forum/13-bashing-and-meetups/
  17. not sure about that tbh, i always seem to get stung with import duty i've been looking at this combo http://www.modelsport.co.uk/orion-vortex-neon-8-combo-2000kv-/rc-car-products/372140 or this one http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hobbywing-ezrun-combo-sc-c4-2000kv-sc8-waterproof/rc-car-products/376991 any good?
  18. looks good! are they hong kong based? whats delivery like?
  19. i've already told you, imperial for the 8ight series... some of losi's other cars use metric, the 10th scale ones i think but defo imperial for the 8ights
  20. So is there a massive difference in the feel between sensored and not? i probably will race it a little bit as a second class but nitro is my priority! would probably pay more if needed for something that is going to be worth it! no lipo's yet but have got charger
