What the hell is going on here? I haven't been on here for a while because my wife has been in hospital with serious pregnancy complications with our twins, so you can imagine this has been the last thing on my mind. Firstly, let me deal with some things here - I swapped the SCX10 with Paulramage who I thought was a friend. At that point loonynino on here advised me on a few things. Paul had built the SCX with the links in the wrong places, waaaay too many spacers at the rear diff, and not handling quite right. This is straight from another user, not me. I ran it the way it was and ordered the new links as the old ones had been shortened. I removed the link which was the wrong length and was waiting for the new parts to fix it to arrive. If you remove the links though, the wheels flop around, so I screwed a part of the old link back on and cable tied it in place to stop shocks etc being damaged. I gave Barry the car, with the new links, and told him he would need to build it before it was used. So why has this been brought up on here? He knew AND SAW exactly what he was getting. I was totally upfront and honest. As for the batteries issue, I didn't like the car and didn't even use one full pack in it. I disliked it so much so that I swapped it for an EB4! And when the steering servo in that died, in front of Barry who I swapped for the SCX, did I bitch and moan? No! I replaced it! And I was also using an ansmann evo charger and psu, so why wouldn't I have charged them properly??? Now, the power switch in the Losi 8ight - I have offered to replace it, but that's the only complaint I have had. The FTX Punisher - the listing was as honest as I could make it. I ran it at Bathgate BMX track in front of other forum users, including those who have openly stabbed me in the back. No need to take the engine out. The pinion slides back in easily and is keyed so it locks onto the clutch. You can then hold the pinion with water pump pliers or loosely with mole grips and screw the bolt back in. You probably haven't noticed, but the pinion cover is only held to the diff with 2 Allen bolts.

Wind on a ton of preload and fill the shocks with thicker oil, roughly 45-50wt. Makes a difference to the suspension without needing new springs. If you do change the springs go for DDM springs, great quality and cheaper.
