  1. Don't get me wrong it's not a snob thing... its the styling. Just the same way I preferred hpi over traxxas.. when you reach a certain level of expenditure with bikes I think aesthetics become more and more a factor in the process as there will be very little to set bikes apart, like you said your boardman is around the same spec as your buddies commencal. . 2. I've said it before and ill say it again I do love the smoothed welds and frames etc. I just can't get get past the branding myself and it's a purely personal thing.. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk

  9. super nice fella can't beat a bit of vintage kit, proflex were revolutionary when they first hit, as were Girvan flex stems and rock shocks. I remember buying my first shock forks back in 94 they were answer manitou 3s and the cost me 345 quid.. Probably about a grand in today's terms Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk

  12. yeah I've got to agree, its a great concept but a bike with that limited scope just isn't useful. I read loads of positive thing about then but also there are plenty of folk out there who having ridden one for a couple of months say they're pretty much one trick ponies and no very quick at performing those tricks to boot..
