Popular Post BigGinge Posted January 24, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted January 24, 2022 (edited) No idea if this is what I should be doing for my “chrome” sections but I’ve put down my first layer of paint inside the shell. Plan is to go back over these sections on the outside to get a finish a bit like what you can see in the 2nd picture (1st one is outside view, 2nd one is internal view). Theory is if the outer paint gets scraped off then there should still be something silvery underneath. There are two colours to go in the inside which will also back the blue, then a couple of bits to finish off on the outside. BigGinge Posted January 27, 2022 Share Posted January 27, 2022 Black’s done now too. I also found a nice spot to let the paint dry out inside the house without stinking the whole place out. It’s a shame I’m going to mess up the black covering on the inside with the next coat, as I’d quite like to keep that as the final internal finish.
