Bolted some scrap aluminium to the shock towers, then drilled and tapped it to take these M6 thumbscrews. Ant.p Posted November 4, 2021 Share Posted November 4, 2021 Fitted the replacement 2085X servo to the Xmaxx and connected the Bluetooth module up. Ran an update to get latest firmware and then was able to adjust the steering end points etc. Just wow, the steering is totally brilliant compared to standard servo! not sure if it actually made a difference, but i think the steering was made better after performing the update through the traxxas app. I may be making this up, but it appears much faster now having tested just before and after. Popular Post Bert_w164 Posted November 5, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted November 5, 2021 (edited) Second iteration of lights on Losi, went for 10K, as 20k is like running a marine actinic metal halide, it's a bit crazy. Lenses haven't arrived yet but this time it's not dazzling as I've mount them at an angle pointing down, the light bleed you see now is totally normal as there's no lens fitted yet. Some rear lights for the Losi: Line of sight with LED so looks way stronger than it is, once my lenses turn up I'll convert a set to "frosted diffuser" so there isn't much of s beam but rather a red light that can be seen in the distance. Tested the fronts last night and way better since I've mounted at an angle, there is light bleed but it's not dazzling like before. Front off: The glue is messy but that's cos I've got spare towers and this front is already chipped so happy to test on. Built box stock other than hex hardware if I had the correct replacement.
