      Im getting a refund from the shop because they don’t have anymore stock and there’s none at the suppliers, so ordered something different from MS and yeah MS use DPD

      The og parcel got to the delivery depot this morning but they decided to return it to MS, anyway MS have now sent a replacement parcel that should arrive tomorrow 👍

      Idiot buying the car hasn’t turned up and is ignoring me, the MS order which I paid extra to have delivered on Saturday hasn’t even got to the delivery depot yet 🤣🤣🤣

       

      But the Bodyshop has sent me some pics of the repairs and they look spot on, just needs a cut and a polish in morning and it’s sorted 👍 

       

      And the XV02 is going together lovely 👌

      8 years ago i had to sell my regular commuter car to my pay my plasterer - bearing  in mind id replaced every ceiling and chased out every wall for central heating and electrics it wasn’t a bad deal 🤣

      A lot of RC owners don't have a clue,  they got in at the high end.   I use to repair RC for people  and the amount of cars I see with totally shot bearings  but as it was brushless  they didn't even notice.

      I'm sure I read that the self storage happens after the charged state is present for 5 days, then it lowers the voltage to storage levels. 

      However, we aren't advised to leave a normal lipo charged for days at a time though...

       

      Basically if you are willing to pay that much for a 4s, you are an idiot!

      Not sure why people are knocking the self-storage, that's a good feature. People love to act like they're infallible, i bet at least half the people in this forum do not storage charge after every run. 

       

      The price is of course beyond stupid, but the self storage discharge isn't responsible for that. I have a few packs that self-storage, and while they are slightly more expensive than comparable normal lipos, it's not by much. I don't know how much a 10AH 100C HV pack usually is, but their lower spec 6s pack is overpriced too, by around £50ish. 6s 6.8AH 100C HV pack, £180. If they come down to £120-£130, i'll certainly humour the thought. At that point they're £20 more than a Graphene Panther (75C, 6AH and not HV), which is reasonable. 

       

      The issue purely is the price, not the tech. And the tech isn't responsible for that big an increase in price.

      Shells and wheels and tyres arent really worth it from Jennys as shipping is expensive. If you need a shell for a Traxxas that has an intenal mounting system you can still save money, as these are normally included and are around £35 on some. That said I doubt its worth it for a Slash shell
