Yup, you’re totally correct, but I’m not that hard core! I just want a rack to tie some sausages to for my dog to chase.4 points

1st time out with the TRX4 & the two hyper go mini trucks, brilliant fun, the Trx is now rightfully filthy, I did cry a little that pleased my son. He broke his hyper go body tower part. But he was on 3s & hammering it!4 points

So heres the update: $37 shipped for a tub of Noleen, and no taxes either! The internet told me Associated Green Slime was likely Noleen SF3, so I took a a chance. An expensive chance at 6 times the cost of a tiny Green Slime https://www.noleenj6.com/noleen-greases The difference in size (but 6 times the cost!), heres the inside story: Im 99% sure its the base product - same colour same feel, same density. Could be completely different, but I think its the original source.2 points

@Kpowell911 i recently fitted these to my Texan and they are very good also very quick from ali but the foams they come with are rock hard so i used some foams from another set of tyres and now they work real good https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004796880224.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.43.383476dc1GvUBk&algo_pvid=da42b038-8eb4-434d-8b51-0308115dfde7&algo_exp_id=da42b038-8eb4-434d-8b51-0308115dfde7-21&pdp_ext_f={"sku_id"%3A"12000030520649147"}&pdp_npi=3%40dis!GBP!33.17!16.92!!!!!%4021227e5116763944555492884d06bf!12000030520649147!sea!GB!913083435&curPageLogUid=zCfER6cz4yYP they are 1.92 points

if its old then i would put a drop of oil on the bearings/bushings of the motor and see if that helps you could then try running it at lower volts incase there is a build up of corrosion in motor1 point

It's an old one but hasn't been run much in ages. Could there be an 'oxidation' or other sort of layer which needs worn off by running at low voltage?1 point

I’ve had a few from AliExpress now that seem pretty good and work out a fair bit cheaper than an equivalent from one of the more established brands. These are the ones I’ve been running in my XV01 and TB05: 12 kg, 0.09 s (on 6V) SPT 4412 (I think I went for the 180 over the LV ones but I’m not sure if there is any actual difference between the two): https://a.aliexpress.com/_mtAAsyq 25kg, 0.05 s (on 7.4 V) GX Servo X25 https://a.aliexpress.com/_mMowBFu The X25 is very nicely made and seems plenty fast/strong running off road. The SPT really isn’t too bad either, especially considering it works out at less than half the price of the X25. Edit: also run one of these in the TRX4, probably complete overkill for a touring car but still surprisingly quick. JX HV7032MG 32kg 0.07s https://a.aliexpress.com/_mtUEQl01 point

I didn't want to keep plugging into the back of the Tx, will just wear the port out. With the dongle I can also stand. I'm using AccuRC 2. I had neXt years ago but I've lost my key for it1 point

Then i would say its the gyro drifting and you may need to increase/decrease gyro gain1 point

Some XT30's for my M2 Evo. These things are tiny! Going to make an adaptor cable to charge the LiPo's as I don't want to solder these tiny things to my chargers balance board. Wireless dongle for my NX8. Not fond of being on a cable whilst being on the flight sim. New combo for the MT10 - Mamba X - 1412 3200kv motor. 13T 5mm bore pinion.1 point

It was your jeep build that put me onto these, great little kits, just waiting on the servo and batteries to come.1 point

Yes fuel getting in, just redone all the carb gaskets again today and double checked the pulse port was clear, yes lots of spark from the plug and checked all lines and seems to be clear plug gets wet but not overly wet, It feels like there is something happening as you can sort of feel the pullstart have more compression the first 2 times pulling as if its going to start but theres no pop, and Tried the good old Easy start and still nothing. I've lost 1st in sweat from pulling it so much...1 point

Finally got to run the x maxx today after buying it for myself for Christmas.Got to say I was impressed.Obviously no way as stable as my old outcast 8s but that was all part of the fun.Stock gearing on 8s is fine for me but I will fit a max 6 in the future and I have gds spur and pinion here if the stock gears strip.I also have the m2c wide kit here and the m2c 24mm hexes are on order so I can run either 8s backflips or copperhead 2's.1 point

DumboRC is crazy cheap for a great TX and RX combo. Comes with a built in gyro too - £39.99 - Amazon Futaba T3PV. I have one. My only annoyance is it feels small in my hands and the plastics feel quite cheap. But you get that with £600 Sanwa’s - £114 - AT Models - or im thinking of selling mine. Sanwa MX-6. Nice radio for the price - £85.49 - Modelsport I would go with the Dumbo if general bashing.1 point

fail safe is going to come with all the radio sets these days. No reason not to include it. I'd look at something like the Futaba 3PV .... It's £121 , but when you look at hte specs, you get a lot of features and spec. The flip side is receivers are nearly £40 each, so if you plan on building a collection with a lot of cars....you will eaither need to keep swapping the receiver around, or bite the bullet to buy more.1 point

You probably should buy an RC for yourself, not to impress others. If one of them gets an Infraction, XO-1 etc, where do you go from there? Those go 80mph at least out of the box. edit: lol no, just a nickname. I do have way too many RCs though. 😄 I'm just a user like everyone else (mostly) here. I just had everything from £100 RCs to £1300 RCs, so i did get around a bit.1 point
