  1. The steering set up behind the axle is a canny bit of design, does it give better clearance?
  2. Guess there's no way round it. Got to get my build finished. Yours looks good man 👍🏻
  3. Is that the injora gearbox and transfer? Looks like your steering servo is axle mounted, does it hit the motor?
  4. I know this is an old post but looking for guidance on drive shafts for the Big Rock v3, only on 3s but interested if anyone knows.
  5. Hello all. My big rock keeps popping the drive shafts on one side so I have 3 questions... Do I need to adjust the slipper clutch? And Can anyone recommend an upgrade of will stock parts be ok with clutch adjustment? If there is an upgrade, do I need to upgrade other parts at the same time?
  6. Do it. I just extended mine and planted it up more. It's actually a great habitat, bees and butterflies all over the small creeping thyme I planted it up with. Also put alpines in it to bring some more colours.
  7. Did some more tweaking of the hillbilly dial on my build. Making sure I get the needed clearance all round before I make a hinge for the back of the shell and a panel for the cage bed. Then to make a front bumper and get to painting. (The excessive height of the cage is to take lights).
  8. Getting there. Very much making it up as I go along but interesting. Mostly gone together well but I have relocated, reversed, modified bits within the chassis. Moved battery tray, flipped bumper mount/braces, and changed the axle mount for the servo as the clearance between servo and engine mount is limited. Desert lizard shocks are lovely to set up and fit. Also using a skip find tool box to house esc and to provide plastic for body mods. Overall happy with the Injora kit.
  9. Can't wait. Got to put big boy pants on this weekend and fit the electronics.
  10. Well she's fighting all the way but am loving the challenge of this kit. No idea if I'll end up with a functional truck. Seem to be issues everywhere with clearance and angles but nothing rearrangement, an angle grinder, and leverage hasn't fixed yet. Currently 'modifying' the front motor mount to give the axle mounted servo some more space.
  11. Waiting with baited breath for this. Got my first spray job to do once I've done all the technical stuff so love seeing what and how folk do stuff.
