Bought 3 off these last week one for myself and a couple for mates ,had a little blast (test) with them tonight indoors , they are brilliant fun we had the throttle screwed right down to lowest setting on this little video as they were just crazy fast for the size of play area we had... highly recommend them especially at £28 https://youtu.be/qIfj-yZAHr82 points

Hi All Fresh Blood here in both the "New to the forum" sense as well as the "New to the RC" experience. Here for educational purposes as well as to maybe help others as new to this world as myself. Owned my first car (Since being about 8, when they came with wires on the remote) so aiming to soak up as much information as possible.1 point

Let me rephrase the question: My marder is setup for road use with slicks and a pajero shell and front/rear arb's. At worst is used on short cut grass. Does anyone know of a PRE FILTER for cone shaped filters? Ps Millions of people use pit bikes, quads, mx bikes with kn filters on without a problem, so calling kn filters engine killers is short sighted. There are an awful lot of cheap cone filters out there that are garbage, and an awful lot of people that don't know how to keep a filter oiled. Maybe that is part of the problem? Just my two cents.1 point

No worries, it's at my ettention now. Like you said, it's just a matter of getting out there and seeing what works. That chart suggests the 70t spur is optional, it isn't. Found one inside the box Well I can live with that1 point

Do your self a favor and get a standard FG foam filter and bin the K&N if you run off road1 point

When building a spray booth line the inside of the box with plastic bags. The plastic attracts the paint particals from the static charge. Mayb ruffling the bags about before putting them in works even better. I found it out when doing a box booth and finding a plastic bag covered in paint on the other side of the room lol.1 point

£28.30!!! Ridiculous bargain price for any hobby-grade RC! Have a cup of tea/coffee/your favourite beverage to hand, as this video is 21 minutes long! I hope you enjoy it, though. We certainly had a right giggle. And, yes... I desperately need a haircut! I looke like Shaggy, from Scooby-Doo.1 point

Ran mine a full pack yesterday at that same golf course. tweeted the settings thru the bluetooth and app... 50% brakes from 100, tsm off (on the trans anyway of course) and throttle/steering sensitivity from 0 to 20%....though i don't actually know what that does....must read up! it was geared as before when i broke the rear stub axle on 15/50. managed the full pack with no breakages or heat issues. stopped again on lvc. It still feels low on go though to me...(don't know if my adjustment of throttle sens had an effect on this)...so my next run will be 18/50... hoping that somehow the gearing increase will not make it feel less gutless! its all in the vid, but the temp read outs on the app got near 50degrees c and then just stayed around there, not above the whole run. I was blasting p some very steep hills too. heres the vid ( it was very windy so i was going to put music over it but left it in the end..)1 point

I live in Beverley - Just started to re-dip my toe in RC cars - I've got an E-Firestorm Flux so nothing special, but will be up for bashing at some point (I'm not there every weekend). The westwood is my usual stomping ground for flying my Phantom 2 around.1 point

Mesh is definitely too tight. Would be worth checking the clutch shoes and spring as well. These could be pretty worn if the mesh is too tight. If you are having problems with the screws, best option is to use a dremel and the grind wheel to put a flat head through the bolt, then unscrew it using a flat head screw driver.1 point

Got the shell pretty much finished. I love the stickers on the door. Had a bit of help doing some mods at the track once sorted out the car having a massive hissy fit 20° castor mod. Turned bulk head caps round and modded so top deck still fits. Full lock with 8mm offset wheels Camber of wheels at full lock (inside wheel during drift) (Outside wheel during drift) Clearance with shock Also changed layout to something more conventional as esc needed better airflow over it I also fitter mst heavy wheel weights and just waiting on the foam for my mst balance bumper, usukani front bulkheads with slide type upper arms (like oxygen kit) and my auper d front and rear suspension to arrive1 point
