  1. Holy thread resurrection! I am back. Been taking a break from the amount of forums I use, been spending time on Tamiya Club whilst building a rather special touring car, don’t worry I’ll fire the details on here. For the time being here is a nice picture of my TB01 shelf queen rocking a Tamiya Enzo body with lightweight racing wing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Parts are a little harder to come by purely due to them being 1/10 and not 1/8 like the “normal” hypers. They do share some parts with the Hyper Mini ST, which is listed at 1/12 for some reason (to memory) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Yes they do, mine not so much as I sold it, and kinda regret it, but there is still plenty of activity about them on the web. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Looks ace. Little expensive. And everyone is wondering if the portals will be sold seperately
  5. Digging up very old past. Lol Incidently. These are the same as the Flysky GT2B which there are plenty of on ebay. New for around the same price. As i suspect this one has long gone.
  6. I agree. Personally I think he is a top bloke. Had a lot of banter with him. Let me know how he doing please Gaz
  7. OK no worries. Shame he left. Thought he was a very valuable member of the group. Cheers Gaz
  8. I know I've not been around for a while but I'm slightly concerned for our fellow member Noj. I've not seen him around in ages. Just hoping he is alright. I don't recall seeing anything saying he was stepping away from the hobby or the forum. Does anyone else have any contact with him? Mods feel free to move this if needed please.
  9. it's a Tamiya thing. Always has been and always will be. People want silly money for things and usually other people are willing to pay the price.
  10. Ebay to deal with it. Item not received. Open case with them. Onto PayPal. Item not received. One of them will get you your money back. PayPal loves protecting buyers. That's what the fees are for.
  11. That is super cool. May have to sell the Levant to fund this.
  12. Well. After a few issues with the Levant. The Tb01 is back to running its own GPM gear and diffs once again. Love this car. No matter how much I tinker and play around with it.
  13. I'm glad you've finally found one. It's a nice feeling to get something after so long of waiting and hunting.
  14. Love it. Look forward to the build thread.
  15. Good question. I can see the logic behind that question and I'm very tempted to agree and say yes it does.
  16. Thicker isn't always better. It depends what terrain your running on and how you want the car to handle with either fast or slow rebound and also which springs your using. Suspension oil is a whole tuning art IMO. For daily bashing on standard springs and shocks built following the instruction manual then the normal oil is fine. Because the size and amount of holes in the top of piston also makes a difference to how the car handles.
  17. Bearings and shock towers IMO. I found my shock towers to be very flimsy and bendy.
  18. 30k Schumacher oil in all my shocks, I don’t really use different weight oil, even though I should.
  19. Trust me I was tempted. I'm hoping I've sorted why it kept running so damn hot.
  20. Fairly sure that TL01B arms fit straight on along with normal WT01 arms. Gutted about the TG10.
  21. Love the Amarok. Good chassis. And can be wide to run wide arms and 4wd if you want
