Popular Post Kpowell911 Posted December 7, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted December 7, 2023 I was going to throw this shell out as the previous owner has cut it out badly, but my new plan was to try and salvage it and decal it with replica decals, so I can save the genuine ones. Ive obtain a brand new shell, so the brand new shell and genuine decals will go into the box and into the loft. The decals came today and I must be honest Ive been let down by replica decals in the passed, mentioning no names, but these are brilliant. Pre Cut, and great quality. They arrived quickly too. That said, they are thicker than Tamiya, which is fine but the Tamiya 934 Shell has a very challenging rear bumper, but hey. Saw it a while ago after he'd bought it new and converted it, was impressed so ordered the same body to convert mine (not painted yet so still ongoing) . Texted me to say this had arrived: RC10CC Now bit of confusion here as we were all kind of told this wouldnt be here until January, but I think a few UK guys have got theirs today so not sure whats going on. Couldve done without spending £320 3 days before Xmas but hey. Also, now its here Im like hmmm what do I do with this now. I initially wanted to build it, but I think Id prefer to be building a Tamiya. They won't be selling clear spares so it would be extremely risky to even use it. A flick through the manual to see what colours are needed then quickly popped to the local modelshop. Picked up PS1 White PS34 Bright Red - had to buy a whole can for the wing….. PS31 Smoke for the windows w This is 23 years old, and the shell appears marked. Hoping it cleans up. Also the foam tyre inserts have turned to dust haha.
