But I do have at least a month off over Christmas, so I am currently parts gathering, I also have another kit coming too, figured why not, I've never had either of these trucks so it'll be a good time, hopefully. And on the bench right now is an Enduro Power Wagon I am building, alongside an SCX10 Comanche, so I have plenty to do Crikey 🤯 will need a bigger workbench for christmas then. Whats the other kit or is it a surprise 😁

Jens
A larger receiver box for the TRX-4. 3D printed by a guy on eBay for £10. But it is also available for free download on thingiverse for those with their own printer. That will easily hold all the cables that will go in. Old one next to it just to compare. TRX8225 Seal Kit is also needed for the silicone O-Ring and the sponges.

James.S
Had an RC arrive today 🙂 the collection is slowly building... This time it's a second hand one. A late night purchase from Facebook marketplace... but fortunately it turned out to be a good 'un 👍 So its a Maverick Strada Evo SC. It's had barely any use and therefore is in really good nick, which is how the seller described it. I think i got a pretty good deal with it. £65 all in. He also included the transmitter & 2 batteries in the sale, a 1400mah ni-cd 7.2v & 1800mah nimh 7.2v, so obviously won't be getting much speed out of them but its nice to have a couple of the oldschool Tamiya batteries. So yeah, really pleased with it. I think it's a cool looking short course truck, with the option of easily upgrading it to a brushless setup should I ever get bored with the brushed motor.

Popular Post m4inbrain
I got a nice and welcome surprise today. Castle MMX8s/1717-1650 combo from Amain. Best part: slipped through customs, saved £110 in duty/taxes!
Oh How Original
I had one slip through customs too, winner winner... Amain stuff seems to come from Netherlands these days, not quite sure what is going on there, but I didn't have any duty to pay. 2
m4inbrain
Yeah exact same thing for me. Went to the netherlands, they didn't charge me because it was just transitional - and royal mail considered the parcel to be from the netherlands, hence duty free. Not gonna complain, saved a big chunk'o money.
