Oh How Original Posted February 10, 2021 Share Posted February 10, 2021 Repaired and bashed the Senton. Noticed how clean and nice it was inside the front diff, considering it has never been apart to my knowledge, note my grease is red, this is greeny/blue which comes with the Senton. This thing has been covered in mud, water and snow sooo many times and not a spec of dirt inside, I am quite impressed with that. There is a Senton there somewhere... Yeah, using a Max10 and Tekin motor, but I am selling it, it's just not for me, I suppose in a moment of weakness I bought it on impulse hoping it would be something similar to the Outcast 4s, but it's not. Looking forward to seeing this finished👍 Learnt a lot, mainly don't use cheap masking tape that leaves its glue on the hull. When I tried to remove the glue residue I knackered the paint job. Was drooling on first glance, the size of the motor you had in it holy smokes! Yesterday nothing as waiting on spurs, so heres what the dining room table looks like. Today pulled the elecs out of the old faithful hyper for a few test runs on the limitless, its bare minum spec wise but it did very well and kept cool on the stock highspeed pinion. Didnt go fast on the first day only 53mph on 6s 40% throttle. 7000mha 2s battries with 100c in series to make it 4s didnt work very well. The speed drops are the esc not getting enough juice. Popular Post Alex97 Posted February 12, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted February 12, 2021 (edited) Fitted the wheelie bar to the 144001, it's off of another truck however with a bit of trimming it blots straight on. Once the floor arrives the two screws further back will be attached to that. Please excuse the two black strips, they are wedges so once the carbon fibre floor arrives there won't be a gap where the chassis bends. So far i'm sitting under £160 (including 1 battery) and there's not a great deal left to order, so will defently come in under £200 which I'm pretty happy about.
