All a challenge as I'm getting over a major brain blood bleed 2 weeks ago. Makes everything a challenge to do. But so happy I can stuff do rc work even so close to it. I've extended to front links so the servo misses the n30 motor, fitted 28mm shocks & the new micro esc. It climbs like a slug 😁. It's taken a couple of months because I had to wait for parts. Popular Post Alex97 Posted February 10, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted February 10, 2021 (edited) Trying to mock the positions of the electronics in my 144001, the fancy piece of cardboard is the battery. 😂 To make this work I need to move the motor to the other side of the car and push the servo forwards and in. This should allow anything to fit in nicely under the body. Most people stick their ESC on the top desk and push the body up, this will allow the body to remain in the stock low position. Once all of the electronics are in I'll pick the new phat body depending on how much room I have left. There's a few people selling CNHL lipos on eBay so I went with a 4s 1500mAh 100c. Originally I'd planned on running two larger cells on each side but this would have added too much weight and effected the aerodynamics. Just waiting for the motor mount (1st thing I ordered but last to arrive). 6.5mm bullet connectors will be used for the motor and ESC. So far I'm around the £170 mark and don't have much left to buy.
