  1. What about running somewhere without tree/wall, in other term without vertical stuff?! 😂😊👍
  2. Granite wheel are 128mm diameter, 15T pinion is perfectly fine I am running my senton converted to big rock like that. I started to run with the stock 20T to only have random thermal cut out. Much better with the 15T
  3. I am still on 14 hex with granite wheels, I know there is more choice in either 12 or 17 but so far happy with the stock wheels
  4. Big rock is almost a straight conversion. You will need the longer arms and turnbuckles too (common with the typhoon too), bumpers even if the senton ones works not too bad. FKM Breakers do good deals on these parts and he tend to have some quite regularly. Other breakers too to be honest but I tend to use FKM quite a bit. The Granite require a change of chassis (short wheel base one). I have recently acquired a 3-6S ESC motor combo, about to fit it on my senton-big rock... intend to run between 4 and 6S, can't wait to see how it is going to handle itself lol
  5. Yes arcbreaker is one of the breakers, you also have fkm breaker. and others breakers The arrma sell group on facebook is also quite useful for a lot of various kit
  6. Yeah I broke the middle part my senton front bumper when trialling a skatepark... The round pipe at the top of those ramp isn't senton bumper friendly at all.. with the lockdown in haven't done another skatepark session. I think it should be ok with the big rock version
  7. The senton body is quite long in the front yes. Maybe take a measurement from the tower to the end of the senton bumper to have an idea how much it would need to stick out by. I only change my senton bumper for the big rock one when I changed the body
  8. Yes change the body post, just slightly narrower than the senton ones. One thing I did and I have seen a few people doing this is changing the wheels to the ones from the granite, also 14 hex. It help stabilise the car to avoid so much rolling. The motor pinion will need to be reduced to 15t (20t on the senton), it will help the motor. By changing to wider wheels the senton body will need trimming to have clearance for those wheels (if running with that body), the big rock one will be just ok. I have also turned my Senton into a big rock by swapping the arms for the longer version. Senton and big rock share the same long wheel base chassis, so a few opportunities to improve the car in some ways lol I did do it mainly for the winter and the muddy fields, in the summer I am looking at reversing back to the senton
  9. The senton is good to run from out the box. Only to check all the screws are thread locked, maybe after a couple runs have a look at the shocks they prob need a refill. Plenty parts to be added to help with the muck going inside when running Have fun
  10. Hobbywing Max8 and 4274 motor plus a few bits. Thanks @Oh How Original Will see now what the senton/big rock can do... But a bit of soldering to do first
  11. The pin has never a tight fit as far as I experienced it, it will slide in and out fairly easy. Keep everything horizontal to fit the pin and secure the hex. If you have a grub screw on it (metal ones), it will help too. The ebay link looks to me to be some chinese parts available in UK for quick dispatch. The parts are good enough but quality is a bit under stock ones (although not much metal available for the mavericks) As long you have the pin when running the car it will be fine.
  12. Where do you get the alu upgrade from? Was the pin supplied with the upgraded hex? They should have the pin really otherwise you will wear the hub faster and it won't drive efficiently either. A reamer could be a solution
  13. For the connectors I am not too sure about it.. but if you want to get rid of the connector you don't know the name changing the ESC can be a good shout. Depending what you look for you can have some decent one 2S/3S from eBay or China. And the new ones are waterproof. For the receiver/transmitter you can change it with on that suits you. There is no requirement except the number of channels to correspond to you setup. I have changed my servo recently on my XB as the original one started to show sign like you described. Got the new from Wheelspin, etronics 15KG metal gears for less than £20 if my memory serves well... Good luck
  14. The arch wheel clearance is likely to change. I have the blue V3 and the red mega and these are the difference I have spotted so far. Bodypost are the same. If you have done any shoogoo and tape or equivalent on your body, make sure you clear the contact zone with the body post when you will fit your fenders
  15. Changed my senton which was in Sentock mode (senton with big rock body) Into full big rock mode Now roll on nicer weather to get out bashing again! Although still using Granite wheels
