What did you do to your model today?

Flipped the shock pistons on the Tekno to give quicker response over bumps.

Felt the difference immediately, the car was floating over the bumps rather than skipping over them like before.

Also ordered a new conrod for the engine as its now past it's first gallon at race speed and I intend on this motor lasting so I'm looking after it haha

Fitted firm black springs to the Losi MRC shock in the Evoque.  Back no longer sits with wheels buried in arches.  Next is making a centre shaft as the stock one is about 8mm short.  Then I think making some rock sliders to protect the body might be a good idea.

Run the LST again which resulted in driving like a maniac (at least that's probably what the people down the park must of thought lol) and a few standing back flips. No casualties apart from a grub screw coming loose which I've been expecting to happen at some point as it's a common problem.

Nosed dived my buggy on our track.

But also got some air.

Had a member take pictures of the track from above.

Needs a lot of tidying up. But we're getting there. :D

Haven't done anything to my models today, but I have fitted a bearing kit to one belonging to a workmate. I thought Tamiya were the only ones who omitted bearings, but it looks like HPI do so too on some models.

Fitted my mate's HPI F10 with some tasty electrics - a Savox digital servo, Speed Passion Reventon R ESC and 21.5t motor combo. It runs superbly - hope I can sort the bodyshell to the same standard.

Gave the Super 5sc Flux a run over the park, about as reliable as an X-Maxx in terms of drivetrain, but what a fun ride she is! Jumps like a champ!

No drivetrain problems here:P

Jinx!

Itching to try out the drill press which is still in it's box (since April :o)
