  1. Fitted some front light buckets to the little beetle shell (killer bodies light buckets), need to make up some lights now. Also tried some different wheels on it.

  6. Gave the LMT its first run and absolutely destroyed the body with road rash but what a blast. Couple of things though I definitely think that they will be even more fun with other LMTs with some dedicated jumps and I kind of wish I went 2s instead of 3s as I barely got past half throttle, only reason I went 3s is there really wasn't much of a price difference between the battery's I was looking at. Oh and speaking of the throttle I think it has quite a weird throttle curve luckily I still have my spektrum program card so I will have a look at the esc settings at some point.

  15. @James.S.Johnson the reason for my warning earlier today, was to address your attitude towards other members and to tone down the rude responses - This warning clearly had no affect and you react by posting a new topic ‘apologising’ yet ‘giving personal digs’. It is with no regret to inform you that you are now officially banned off this forum and you are free to take the drama elsewhere…

  16. I'll have more infor on this after my next race But options are very different the abbikty to setup throttle curves ect And responsiveness I've swapped from a flysky gt3b to the swana and you can tell the difference allmost straight away And it feels alot nicer in hand

  18. Yes, I ordered some 3d printed ones from eBay, they don’t fit any of my wheels, and they aren’t the best either, have the stickers ready to go on them, will keep looking.

  20. nothing wrong with using NI-MH for crawlers, its what i tend to use, though i did recently make a Li-ion pack using a pair of 26650 4200mah cells as a 1P pack gives good run times but lighter than a NIMH

  22. Same as me then, was out earlier today and thought to myself that it's the perfect amount of power - the one thing i'd like is running it sensored. Of course, i know, sensored is not for everyone, and it technically is a waste of money for little gain, but.. my X-Maxx. Started looking into sensored cans of comparable size/power, but sadly SOOL on that one, most of the stuff i could find (1100kv castle 1717 etc) was too small for an X-Maxx, or 800kv and lower cans that require big modifications etc again. Suppose that's not gonna happen sadly, i just really like sensored systems. Well, here we are. Decent standard servo and the adapter for it, bearing kit, new set of batteries and maaaaybe one of them integy alloy steering bell crank supports (tiny amount of bling). I'll hold off on the widemaxx kit for now (or maybe read into the M2C wide-kit). Probably time to do hub carriers too now. Cheers.

  28. LMT as in the gravedigger style monster trucks? Those things look awesome!

  29. I'd agree with that. If I'd known these options were coming and I could likely of got a brushless version at about the same price by not getting the GPS etc that would have been my preferred option. They seem to be making good choices. Thumbs up.

  30. Features: All-new chassis with narrowed front suspension pivots increases stability & traction More chassis cutouts create greater flex in desired locations Additional chassis cutouts improve engine cooling Hard composite suspension arms combined with the improved central chassis flex keeps the suspension geometry stable while the flex is transferred through chassis and radio plate to maintain traction. Narrower front suspension holders for improved geometry Longer lower suspension arm shock mounting holders compensate for the narrower suspension holders to maintain the ideal shock absorber geometry Lower down-stop mounting holders without the eccentric geometry make the car easier to set suspension down-stops All-new front aluminium bulkheads with a lowered design New front upper clamps feature integrated upper shock mounting positions, eliminating the need for a separate front shock tower Innovative front upper shock mounting directly on the upper clamps adjusted via shims provide more flex on front suspension New front upper bulkhead brace for easy flex adjustments. More stability with the brace installed, more traction and steering when the brace is removed Lightweight front upper arm holder design Ultra-compact and super lightweight receiver box moves the weight lower and closer to the centre of the chassis Radio plate with new servo holders moves the throttle servo more rearwards

  34. Yeah I saw that video - it didn’t impress. Tomley RC had a different take on it though. He said he liked it because of the way it looked and that it was a licensed product. In the same way that we all have our preferred clothing brands etc. Not sure I entirely agree that a poor performing car is “worth it” because it’s licensed, but it was an interesting view on it. And probably a view that a lot of people will share (even if they don’t say it out loud). I don’t think they’ll have any problems selling a car with Hoonigan stickers all over it. And to be fair it looks cool as F

  36. Phew! Spent over 5 hours putting stickers on today. Water technique worked wonders, don’t think I could’ve done it otherwise. Well, a few creases and a little tearing around the wheel arches, but overall happy enough with the result. All ready for some shakedown runs now, shame I’m about to start a run of night’s! What do you think people?

  37. Nothing too exciting but I finally got round to (hopefully) fixing a leaky shock on the EMB-T. Think it was probably caused by the black caps, from some cheap AliExpress copies, I swapped into the stock shocks not being quite the same size as the originals.

  42. This is the programming sheet The grey items are defaults So looking at the table above, if you want to change the cut off voltage to 3.4V/ cell it would be menu item 1, then value 5, then ok
