Well, the good news for X-Maxx owners is, if you follow Noj's train of thought (and anyone who knows me, knows that I'm ALWAYS up for following Noj's train of thought!), anytime anyone breaks any X-Maxx parts, you can just shake your fists at the sky, scream "DAMN YOU, MYDODDY!!!", and bill him for the replacement parts, reference; negative waves.

Believe it or not but it was done about 5 years ago along with the bonnet and RST body kit. Cleaned, clay bar, compound, polish and waxed all ready for the show season... Which it hasn't manage to make an appearance at yet...

Just waiting on diff oil and trying to decide on motor, will probably be a leopard again.

The ESC in my nitro circus one only got warm. One of the wires broke off plug that goes to the ESC. But I think that was down a twig. . I've only broken body posts & the wheelybar shock. Oh & obviously a couple of bodies. Better quality than trucks twice the price. Spares are a bugger to get hold of though.

I remember trying to choose between SSD and Micky Thompson's, chose SSD in the end. They are great beadlocks and hold the bead fine unless you are using Proline tyres. (Ended up changing the wheels to the rock Racer ones as they match the bomber) You won't be disappointed with the SSD's, the beadlock screws look better than the scale bolts of the Micky Thompson's, which look like they might round off easier. Just remember, if you go SSD, thread lock all the little scale bolts in as they fall out otherwise. You can use the 2mm hex head of an M3 bolt as a tool to remove them.

I havent wanted a nitro engined car for a long time now, been more then happy with my electric fleet, but watching that video has made me think maybe there is room just for 1 nitro. *off to eBay i go*

It is an A-07 and as such whilst its a fairly OK buggy for hacking about on that basic 540 motor there are basically zero spares available so you really can't risk pushing it hard.

Me, personally I would keep Mardave atleast you know what it is for sure. Just my personal opinion though not telling you what to do

Wow. Been away from this forum for a while now. See nothing has changed. Mydoddy still voicing his strong feelings on how he hates it and traxxas. My God though we got over all this. One's to watch when the inevitable Cyber Monday sale crops up I think. The more I look at it the more I want one - I love the tyres, far more scale looking than anything I currently run on a micro. Having run a couple Micro MT's I think the same level of sillyness could have been guaranteed with a much higher KV motor and 2S, and with planning that still leaves the option for 3S stupidity should it be needed. As is that's quite some torque that could be on on offer - I hope the drivetrain is upto the task. Add to that the logisitics of single packs over twin set ups. I'm thinking kit version, a 2850 leopard out the EMB-TGH and a HW EZRUN 60a running 2x2S in parallel. Looking at the chassis there looks room to fit the longer can to compensate for loosing some Torque.

Wow so you don't like negative posts? So I should high five everyone every time they break there truck state how great it's flaws are and the great service you get from traxxas and only post positive views, but I'm allowed to have my own opinions I'm just not allowed to voice them in the fear of upsetting a few or facing a public whipping .. As for taking the fun out it would appear yesterday everyone wanted to post and the thread came alive with a hive of activity, so my guess is if it takes my public onslaught to bring it to life I best carry on the old ways Have a great day guys and thanks fir the words of wisdom, encouragement and support your all stars

Right you lovely lot look what I got Finally some decent springs yippee !! If any if you owners want some let me know I got another 2 sets on route I thought these came as pairs but there are 4 in the packet doh ! Next up these my thinking was they might help the rear end shaking it's booty at speed ? I will let you guys know how they go

This is my Land Rover. I based if on my dads old Royal Signals Land Rovers from the 80's. Custom chassis with RC4WD T-Rex 60 axles. It's the Hong Kong body, but I had to do a lot of work. I filled the rear windows, changes the door handles to lever type, modified the front and customised the interior. Pictures: Will
